Stop nerfing killers
Survivor main here.
Saw the oni changes and am genuinely disappointed. Are the devs seriously waiting for people to buy and then immediately nerf?
We saw this back with Evil Dead release. yes, MoM was way too powerful, but the devs must have known and planned to nerf since it happened all too soon.
why make it to where we keep nerfing killers who don’t need it? seriously just think about it:
-top tier killers like Spirit will become widespread, and nonetheless she’s boring to go against, which in turn angers survivors and killers who like to play other killers.
-lobby diversity will be do conservative if this keeps happening. people will literally only play spirit (which nobody wants because it’s boring)
After this happens, and with time, the game loses players.
Devs please listen, and STOP nerfing killers!

They weren't waiting for people to buy The Oni before they removed the flick. They have said from the start of his PTB, publicly and on multiple occasions, that the flick was unintended and would be removed at some point. Everyone who bought him had access to that information in advance.

yeah i agree. all i hate is that huge green cloud above my head. just shouts “HEY IM HERE COME DOWN ME IMMEDIATELY WITH YOUR RED PUKE”
at least remove that obnoxious cloud.
other than that i’m fine w her, since i don’t cleanse anyway.

Nope. In fact, you'll notice that we frequently (and publicly) disagree with decisions made by the developers, which we are free to do because we're not affiliated with them in any way.
Although of course, if you already think that in spite of both Trusted members and the devs themselves stating otherwise on numerous occasions in the past, I'm not sure how my word is going to make much of a difference.

I don't believe it. No development studio nerfs a "bug" unless it's suppose too be a mechanic. The fact they made it worse for live versions from the PTB version tells me it isn't a bug.

Well, imagine how angry people would have been if they'd delayed it. Remember when they delayed the fix to the Level 3 challenges because they wanted to make sure they didn't accidentally break anything, and the forums were in uproar the entire weekend?

Okay. Help me here. If making the change had no impact on the game then why change it at all? Obviously it makes a difference. It would make you less noticeable. Making you less noticeable is a killer nerf.
