Is the Tome Challenge about EGC and noed and etc glitched?
I've tried to do the challenge several times with noed, gates open, gates closed, any possible way I could imagine, to the point that my rank 19 killer went to 14 mainly just trying to do the challenge and I still haven't got it

Ok so, the challenge doesn't specifically say NOED needs to be active... but that's besides the point.
So you hooked someone before the EGC starts and than proceeded to have them die on the hook and hook the last Survivor... it sounds like the challenge is being VERY VERY specific... since my guess is you hooked them before the EGC started... which means the challenge didn't register that as a EGC hook/sacrifice because EGC wasn't active DURING his hooking...
This seems to be what's happening... and if that's the case than that's VERY specific.

You sacrificed 2 Survivors during the EGC with NOED active correct?
Because the EGC doesn't activate unless the hatch is closed or someone opens a gate... so i'm just making sure that you tried doing this by sacrificing 2 Survivors... 2... not 1... and had NOED active during the EGC correct? NOED has to be active and so does the EGC!
It could be bugged for you specifically because I've seen people finish the entire challenge board on level 3... so that's what i'm suspicious of what you actually did during the EGC.
If you did do all this and didn't finish the challenge than please do provide any proof you can and submit a ticket to the support team...

Yeah, to be more specific, what I did in the past few matches I remember is "put a survivor in last hook, open the gates before his hook transforms into a skull at the bottom, hooks another dude who dies for being the last alive"

I watched my brother try to do the challenge that way as well the other day, and I can confirm that it doesn't work if you hook them before the gates open, even if they don't actually die until afterwards.
Try using Blood Warden and wait for the gates to open (or open them yourself if you're near one) and then hook the first guy. With NOED and BW combined, you should be able to get the second fairly easily, and then the challenge should work properly.

Anyways, my suspicion is correct @Shenlong1904 they need to be hooked and sacrificed DURING the EGC... you can't hook them and than activate the EGC...

I was about to say, you don't have to use BW, it just makes it a lot easier. With NOED and a bit of luck, you should still be able to get it done. The main point was that unfortunately you have to wait until after the EGC starts to do the hooking. If you can get your first victim on the ground before the last generator pops, that might help, because then the others won't know in advance that you have NOED.

Not really, it's just a lot harder since you don't have BW... you don't really need freddy just BW... if you're lucky the Shrine might have BW soon OR you can buy Freddy on the shop... or his DLC....
But you can also just do it without BW... it'll just be a lot harder.
