Michael Myers buffs
Hi guys, I was thinking about a few MM buffs since he's quite weak right now but not as weak as Wraith and Freddy of course.
This is quite a big idea list so beware!
Evil Within 1: No terror radius and the rest of the effects are still the same. His lunge can reach a bit further than the current EW1 state but it's not as long as EW2. His walking speed should be increased to 110% instead of 105%.
Evil Within 2: Stalking multiple survivors will now stack the stalking speed like it used to when MM was released. This will make sure that the survs have to actually scatter and people are scared of EW3 more. Stalking range is now increased by 10 meters.
His stalking ability doesn't affect his movement speed anymore.
(EDIT: His stalking movement speed is 92% movement speed like when you are carrying someone. Maybe agitation could be activatable for more than just carrying?
Evil Within 3: When reaching EW3 your walking speed gets a short boost like Wraiths add-on and after like 0.5 or 1 second the effect will wear off and he has the default 115% running speed. , or he just becomes 117.5% walking speed. Bloodlust stacks faster than normal (maybe from 15 seconds to 12 or something like that).
Stalking people in EW3 is pretty useless nowadays so I thought of something pretty fitting to the game.
''Stalking survivors while in EW3, makes your blood boil with excitement, you become 2.5% faster for the duration you have stalked the survivors in EW3.''
Add-ons will need to be reworked and some new ones have to be made I guess.
Boyfriends memo, uncommon rarity: Increases the lunge range to the normal lunge range while in EW1
Boyfriends poem, rare rarity (new add-on): Slightly Increases the lunge range in EW2.
Boyfriends love song, very rare (new add-on): Moderately increases the lunge range in EW2 and slightly increases the lunge
range in EW3
Tacky Earrings: moderately increases movement speed in EW1 while stalking
Jewelry: moderately increases movement speed in EW1 and slightly increases movement speed in EW2 while stalking
Jewelry Box: considerably increases movement speed in EW1 and slightly increases movement speed in EW2 while
stalking
Laurie's Necklace (or something like that), Very rare (new add-on): When stalking survivors during EW3, your movement speed
is increased by 5% for the duration you have stalked a
survivor
Scratched Mirror: Evil Within I reveals Survivors' auras when stalking within a 36-meter range
You now have a 6 meter terror radius in EW1
Evil Within cannot progress past TIER I
For each Hit Score Event, grant 100 % Bloodpoints for the Hit Score Event in the Brutality Category and an
additional 200 % Bloodpoints in the Deviousness Category
Vanity Mirror: Removed the decreased movement speed penalty
Able to see survivors' auras in a 24-meter radius
Evil Within cannot progress past TIER II
For each Hit Score Event, grant 100 % Bloodpoints for the Hit Score Event in the Brutality Category and an
additional 150 % Bloodpoints in the Deviousness Category
Tombstone Piece: Kill injured Survivors with Evil Within III.
Disables the ability to stalk with Evil Within III.
Moderately increases the amount of evil required to reach Evil Within III
Able to kill downed survivors while in Evil Within III
Killing a Survivor moderately drains the power of Evil Within (except when paired with ''Fragrant Tuft of
Hair''
Fragrant Tuft of Hair: Unlimited duration of Evil Within III.
Considerably increases the amount of evil required to reach Evil Within III.
Now becomes an Obsession add-on. When having killed your obsession you lose the add-ons effects
and can't get them back in that match.
Judith's Tombstone: Unlocks the ability to kill injured Survivors with Evil Within III.
Considerably increases the amount of evil required to reach Evil Within III.
No movement speed decrease.
( With the removal of the movement speed decrease being able to instantly kill healthy survivors would
be a bit overkill. This way the killer can get even more points and the survivors have a small chance to
survive )
Able to kill downed survivors while in Evil Within III
Play with your Food becomes like Save the best for last. Hitting people with a normal melee attack or lunge removes one of 3
tokens. Letting all survivors escape a chase rewards you with tokens from now on and 1 token increases movement speed by 5% all the way to 20%. ( That's still weaker than how it was at release )
Thank you for reading my idea list for Michael Myers.
I play both survivor and killer and am rank 1 on both. I mostly play killer side tho and main Myers. I have over 900+ hrs in the game and have been playing since release but took a break for school after the year of the wolf. I came back 3 weeks ago and instantly added 150hrs to the game xD
Have a nice night/day ![]()

These ideas are awesome! I like them a lot! I think that as a survivor player this would get me stressed af and make me stressed out when getting stalked.

Oh yeah let MM stalk while chasing me at regular running speed, doesn’t seem broken at all!11

That is productive feedback. MM shouldn’t be able to move fast while stalking, it’s too broken, as it is now is fine.KillingInstinct said:@Twix said:

Survivor hides behind an object? Stop stalking, readjust and stalk again.
EW1 walking speed/lunge is fine as it is, it’s not hard to get to EW2.4 -

It's actually not tho xD Survivors can abuse jungle gyms while Michael is in tier 1 and he can't stalk them since Jungle gyms don't take any mind games for survivors and they can always look behind them and check if he's stalking. So no. That is definitely not balanced. His movement speed while stalking is 72% right now. That is bs

The only thing I can agree with is:
1) Stalking multiple survivors stacks the stalking speed
2) Small speed boost for a short time after tiering up EW
Bloodlust activating faster while EW3, what a joke. Bloodlust shouldn’t be in the game to begin with and you wanna give it faster to a killer that can down you in a single hit without any skill require at all, just holding down left click... lol1 -

and pallet looping requires skill?

Move on to a different survivor then. Every time I join a game and the killer is MM he’s usually in EW2 within 30 seconds.KillingInstinct said:@Twix said:

Why is pallet looping even being brought up into the discussion. This is about MM and possible buffs.KillingInstinct said:@Twix said:

To answer your question: no it doesn’t and I never agreed with it to begin with. If maps were balanced and we had more ways to be slealthy and lose a killer survivors wouldn’t need to pallet loop.1 -

tbh when I play survivor, hiding after a chase always works. And I mentioned pallet looping not requiring any skill because you said that bloodlust activating faster makes that less skill. Bloodlust was put in the game to counter infinites and pallet loops so that's why I said it.
Let's continue with the feedback tho

I like the new change you made with the 92% walk speed when stalking! That would be a bit more balanced. Maybe make Evil Within 3 require like 1 or 2 seconds of extra stalking or something like that so it's a bit more balanced?

You misread that. I said a killer that can 1 hit down by merely holding down left click at a survivor requires no skill, so allowing him to get Bloodlust even faster would be completely broken.KillingInstinct said:@Twix said:

You're supposed to be stealthy with Tier 1 anyway. If a survivor is looping you at a jungle gym when you're stuck a T1, that just means you've failed.I think he needs only slight add ons buffs, and maybe slight passive EW gain that caps out at 99% so he's not screwed by dcs and killing too fast.Otherwise, he's already a scary and balanced killer. He's easy to use, has built in tracking/detection, has variety in playstyles, and has potential to end chases quickly and camp with his instadown. I don't see what else needs to be changed.2

Bro MM is currently 3rd or 4th best in the game, what are you on about?

@Twix don't worry about this guy. Awhile back he was posting salty threads about not being able to catch a survivor with bloodlust and EW3 on Meyers. All the buffs in the world wouldn't help this guy.4

@Vietfox thank u

He should be able to hide in closests with 3rd person view1

Myers doesn't need a buff. When more generalized changes come to improve killers, he's among the few that doesn't need work afterwards. He also has IMO 2 of the top add-ons in the game (tuft of hair & tombstone).

Reducing his movement speed, taking away his detection trait and sometimes still not even working right when within range

I find Myers to be perhaps the most balanced killer in the game. I wouldn't really want to see any nerfs or buffs for him.
