Sabotage is a rudimentary thing and it should be deleted from the game.
Before introducing hook recovering, sabotage was very fun mechanic... for Survivors. For killers it was butt hurting as hell.
After introducing hook recovering, sabotage was nerfed to the ground and very few Survivors tried it... to get disappointed.
Now Sabotage.. can work, but it is very difficult, and if it works - killers become annoyed, they are forced to slug - boring gameplay for Survivors. Sabotage is underwhelming, but it should be, and it hurts both sides.
Bcs of this, sabotage should be decommissioned, for the game in my opinion it would be healthier.

sabotage can you win games though if you break every hook near a gate and it's opened then the killer is ######### out of luck

Last sabo team I faced off against just made the game a little more brutal and left me feeling SUPER sweaty.Was on Crotus Prenn using Myers, so dealing with that main building and STILL not being able to hook ppl half the time sucked. Fortunately for me, I was screwing around with an infinite T3 build using infectous fright. Sabo team...meet slug build, lol.

Saboing is fine. It's an option and while people are sabotaging, they aren't doing gens and it may or may not pay off. Plus it synergizes with flipflop, Breakout, etc.
Let's encourage options other than gens. Not remove them.

Yes, I remember a game in which a Claudette kept sabotaging my hooks and running to a corner of the map.
I was going to hook her, but then noticed there were no hooks around so I dropped her and killed her.
You never know.

Nah, this is the best! Though I still think the Trapper should start with more traps to begin with. What other killer has to go around and collect their secondary weapons, killing time in the early game.

I would not like to see Sabo removed from the game, I do think that it needs some sort of change right now because it appears to be very rare to see people sabo'ing. I must admit, I enjoy sabo'ing hooks and do it regularly, but right now it is a matter of running Empathy and sabo'ing all of the hooks on a map and hoping that nobody runs near the basement.
It doesn't always pay off, and quite often I find myself slugged (added unbreakable to my sabo build now) but I'm still enjoying the game - I've not had any complaints from killers after the match either, even if I've pulled off a clutch save. Possibly because when I'm doing sabo games, I'm not working on gens so much only hooks and totems. So the games are naturally a bit slower.
I think it shows that different objectives are a great thing for survivors to have.

Hey I need something to do while waiting for EGC to kill me. Don't take my sabo option away.
If I ever sabo during the main game it is to immediately destroy a hook near the gen I am working on so the killer doesn't hook anyone there.

I agree. I ######### hate Sabotage. It should be replaced with a new, healthier secondary objective.

Leave sabo in, it's more of gen stall than any perk as you have one person running around literally not doing their objective. I've faced many a sabo squad that got no one out because of their over zealous approach.

Reduce trap destroyed time (comes back faster) and causes the injury status when completing the sabo?

Meg - All that running can be exhausting, thankfully you always bring your trusty Protein shake! Now to remember where you dropped it...
Jake - You never did like the hustle bustle of city life and thats why you chose to live among nature! Take a moment to meditate in a spot that speak to you!
Dwight - You have lived your whole life as a below average person, letting other walk all over you. Take a few moments to shout your frustrations at any and all fellow fog survivors who will listen!
There are a few healthy examples of secondary objectives for survivors. I'll let you think up the rest!

I recently thought of a "survivor power" for Dwight. Basically giving the job of opening lockers.

Sabotage is kind of iconic at this point and it would be sad to be it removed. If someone pulls it off in it's current state... props to them. I've done it a handful of times and it feels amazing.
However it is really situational and weak. But I don't understand people wanting it "removed" when it does slow the game down. Anyone sabotaging drastically increases game time typically unless you target/tunnel the sabotage user.

A good Sabo team can easily counterplay killers very well. Look at it from the survivor's standpoint. They carry NO weapons to stop YOU.

I think they should at least increase the time it takes to break a hook. I mean, you can be in a chase, and they can literally break the closest hook before you down them. Or be carrying someone to a hook and some a hole runs up and breaks it before you can get the hook. It's a lil OP.

I find sabo pretty fun when playing survivor. When survivors sabo they are not on gens, if you are forced to slug you are applying a lot of pressure on survivors and it almost never works out for them unless you are in a well-coordinated swf, but those game don't happen too often. I personally don't see a problem with it as the killer.
