Can we remove the visual effect of bloodlust on console? it does not help
it's frustrating that everytime i bloodlust someone, i literally stop for a second, rather than help me this mechanic make me miss some hits

Yes! Dear god yes. The game drops frames, everything goes bad when Bloodlust starts up. I've missed so many hits because of Bloodlust, and I've also completely lost sight of survivors in chases. Bloodlust is just the worst on console.

Sounds like it's more likely to whiff hits that shouldn't have missed on console than on PC because of the Aim Assist playing into it even more so. Ouch.

I've had Bloodlust stutters on PC as well. It's not only a console issue.

Every time I'm near a BL tier up I wait because I know I'll miss the hit if BL comes just when I'm going to strike

Actually it's not bloodlust's visual effect causing this.
You also suffer from a stutter when status effects are applied like Madness, Mangled, Blindness, Exposed, Exhausted, Hemorrhage, Haste, etc.

the game is like "here hold on let me help you" while it freezes you in place
bloodlust always kicks in right before a lunge.. curious

No issues with Bloodlust framedrops on PS4? I did hear the game runs worse on Xbox.

it's not even a frame drop, it's a freeze you in place for 2 seconds while we apply this status

It also freezes your screen just long enough to make you completely miss if the survivor has half a brain cell.

I was also worried it was just me. Drives me nuts when it happens. Things blur, frames drop, and suddenly the Jane who was in the middle of my screen is just... gone. Jane.

@DwightOP lmao i agree also for the freddy dreamworld, the main reason it's like we play on ultra , while on pc you can just set low, to make the monitor brighter and easier to see..i don't know how many times i lost survivors because of the dream world
edit: i saw you play on pc, so imagine me playing on console

It's not just bloodlust. Every status effect causes frame drops on console (blindness, exhaustion, mangled etc...)
