If they nerf Hag, I´m leaving
So I read two posts regarding Hag and how she might get nerf. All I have to say if The devs nerf her, I´m packing up my cds and leaving DBD. The only reason I stayed loyal to DBD after these 3 years was solely due to Hag. I know I might some like some crazy ######### overreacting over nothing but nowadays you can´t be so sure. But if they do nerf Hag and I do leave DBD, Behavior you just lost yourselves a Loyal Fan.

They nerfed Legion, so anybody can get nerfed if they're a bit annoying, so rip Hag always in my heart.

I don't think this was worth a thread mate. I got nothing constructive or entertaining from reading this but what did I expect from a user on the dbd forums.

The only problem I have with the Hag is that she can place a trap at the exit gate switch and unless you have a flashlight there is literally NOTHING you can do. You can crouch over it but when you stand up to open the gate the trap goes off, gg. She is 100% impossible to win against if you're the last person left and the hatch has closed. No other killer has that strength.

i personally don't think they're going to touch hag. even if they do, it's most likely to increase trap-setting distance rather than straight up butchering her add-ons or basekit.
she's reasonably constructed, and those who complain about her playstyle simply don't really know how to play against her, considering she's not as commonly played as other killers.

Trapper's traps can be disarmed by anyone. Hag's traps.. only with a flashlight. That's the problem. I assure you Trapper is nowhere near as strong as the Hag in a 1v1. Sure, you will get a notification your trap has been disarmed but the survivor gets a chance to run off.
Trapper also spends precious time picking up a trap to place at an exit gate if he doesn't carry any. This can be enough time for a survivor to open the gate.

I believe they were aiming for a change that felt better for both the Survivors and Killer, but essentially failed to hit the mark.

I don't think there's anything to worry about @Bigbootiejudy666 . As far as I'm aware there hasn't been an official word on any plans to change the Hag.
I think people complain about her, because she's rarely picked and a lot of survivors have no idea what to do when they face one eventually. The power itself is unique and interesting.
Some people adopt a pretty unfun playstyle with her, but I feel like i should point out that these same people will play in a similar way with other killers. The difference is that survivors are quite used to versing a wraith or bubba, who religiously defend a hook, but they are not used to versing a hag doing the same just because she's such a rare sight.

The only chance the hag needs is that there needs to be a tooltip for new survivors that they can crouch the traps

I've not seen any significant levels of complaining about Hag like there was with Legion, Spirit, Nurse, DS, insta heals etc. So she's probably fine.

The entire history of this over-reaction:
One person said they hate playing against the hag solo.
Another person said they better not nerf the hag because of the above person saying they hated playing the hag solo.
This thread gets made due to the above thread. Unless someone can show otherwise they Devs never once mentioned nerfing the hag. The most they ever said about the hag is that she is one of the most rarest killers to fight against. This is not the sound of an upcoming nerf.

Not true. If you crouch and open the gate, it doesn't activate. Just escaped yesterday doing that. It only triggered when I started running after the gate was oppened.

Hag is fine where she's at. I'd prefer to see resources aimed at reducing bugs. I believe a repair and healing trophy are still bugged.

Only one? They got like 3, FF not counting as a basic attack, decreased the DW timer and actually reworking the DW timer and Nerfed the Blades because they were too op I guess. Also the yellow duration addon got nerfed for some reason.
Reverted nerfs are still reverted nerfs, Legion is still bad, they can just get their first hit easier, like if it wasn't easy before... Their problem isn't getting the first hit, their problem is to ensure the down.

They won’t nerf her... she’s back of the line... least picked killer with a decent win-rate next to bubba... they need not touch her until so many problems with the games are fixed like swf-solo gap, game length time and whatever else I can’t think of right now.
I can imagine when all the problems are solved she’d be changed to be some less campy but given more chase potential. That’s about it.

Legion was not nerfed for being annoying. He was nerfed because no matter what you did as a survivor you got downed. Let’s not get that confused.

Removing synergy from perks for a killer while only giving a slight buff (that also comes with a nerf) to the base power is a nerf. I'm a legion main; i know ######### I'm talking about.

Yeah that's the attitude! And I bet you wonder why you sit and wait sooooo long to get a match as survivor. Surly can't be a shortage of killers getting pissed and quitting. 🤡
