Give survivors a scream button/emote/action.
Would allow us to express fear (at a good play) / distract the killer by revealing our location if in terror radius and could be tied into perks even (if you scream you get X effect etc).
Had the idea today after a hillbilly snuck up on me with tinkerer (i've been to rank 1 and am currently rank 8 so this doesn't happen often I'd like to think). Had no real way to express to the guy until after the game was over (which console players can't really do) how much he scared the absolutely everliving crap out of me.

Cut to the exit gates. Survivors using that so the killer goes there to t-bag. Or just spam it if he doesn't go there

I dont think it'd be good to give sirvivors an emote thats tied with an animation/action that produces a notification.

See, on the surface I like that idea. A tool that would actually have a few uses but not be game breaking on its own.
And then I remember how much people say they hate versing Doctor because of all the screaming. And I remember the couple games as Doc recently where I had a person who stayed in Madness 3 for a while every time purely to start intentionally failing snap out of it checks when I was chasing someone else to distract me visually and audially, and I stop thinking it’s as good of an idea.
So...good conceptually, but definite room for abuse, which is problematic. If there was a substantial cooldown on the emote, maybe it’d be fine, but if it were like the other two emotes I’m concerned about abuse potential.

There'd need to be a cool down if implemented.
Edit: but honestly all sound notifications should have a cool down. Locker spam is an annoying problem.

definitely could see how some survs would abuse that to hell or just use it to ######### with the killer, or even other survs.
more hand gestures however would be very useful, esp if you're on first hook- a Don't Get Me gesture would be nice to communicate to some people it's not worth the risk, and the spamming the try to escape button doesn't always mean the same thing to everyone
also a way to flip off the killer while on hook would be nice :p
i second thumbs up/down so that we don't have to turn the camera so much to nod/shake head, or just communicate that we don't want healing, or if going a certain way is risky, or we have a different plan.
even for killers i think that would be good, or just any gestures for killer would be nice. sometimes i want to give a surv the hatch but they don't quite understand me flailing my main weapon in the air means 'go this way'

It'd be hilarious but yeah it'd be abused. It shouldn't be able to be used while downed since Hex: The Third Seal and Knockout would be useless. "Where'd he down you at?" "AAAAAAAAUUUUUUGHHHH!!!!" "Oh, he's over there."
It would be funny though. Like you're working on a generator, and another player doesn't hit a ruin skillcheck, and the third player screams at him.
