Things we should get fixed + DC penalty

Does anybody know how many disconnects in what amount of time it takes to get a penalty? I haven’t played with the new update of the DC penalty yet but I heard somebody say it was 3 DC’s, and match cancellation and game crashes add to the amount of DC’s needed to get a penalty.

if I leave 2 games back to back and then leave another game an hour later, do I still get the penalty? Do I still get it if I leave one 2 hours later?

now I know it’s a “test” for the next couple days but I really hope they fix these 2 things. And if they can’t then they shouldn’t have this feature in the game yet. Queue times are already long sometimes and having to wait 30 minutes over these 2 things isn’t right.

There’s games where you get killed off the bat and then get facecamped and tunneled until death. Why would I want to be in that game? What’s stopping me from not leaving? So I can “give my teammates more time to complete generators because the killer is throwing the whole game away for one person”? Great, my teammates get to do generators and get all these points but I’m stuck on a hook for 2 minutes doing nothing and getting barely any points for it. Why wouldn’t I just leave the game? Plus in a solo game, a teammate or 2 will come over and try unhooking just to get himself killed or waste time trying.

so my point is that if you’re going to add DC penalties, have an incentive for those who get killed right away and get facecamped all game. The excuse “the killer is throwing the game just for one kill” doesn’t mean anything because the person on the hook didn’t get to do anything and leaves with no points. Add an incentive like if most of my teammates escape I get a decent amount of bloodpoints or something. 3 - 4 survivors escape, survivors win. 2 is a tie. 1 - 0, killers win. And work on the DC penalty fix

    1. You can suicide on hook and get the same results of a different game.

    2. Dcing gives you nothing but wasted time while suiciding on hook or waiting the 2 minutes if unsaved gets you what you earned.

    3. Unless you are found and camped near the very start of the match you should have some points even if it's 3k which is enough for a cheap addon/item.

    4. I dont think there is a sytem in place to "reward" you for dying at the start of the game you barely did anything and that very easily could be an immersed player who waits for their allies to die so they can get hatch. Why risk rewarding nonplayers?

You didn’t get my point. My point is why add a DC penalty of 3 DC’s when there’s games where you get killed right away and facecamped until death. Their point of “the killer is throwing the game to just kill one survivor” isn’t that well oriented, because the hooked survivor gets barely any points and doesn’t even get to play. People get slugged after being tunneled to avoid DC. That’s very annoying, So most people just DC.

if a survivor gets killed right away and face camped, there is no incentive or reason they should stay in the game. You add a DC penalty you need to add an incentive for tunneled and camped survivors to stay in the game.

    1. you can’t get the same results of a different game.
    2. and 3. Yes because I’m so in need of like 3k or less bloodpoints that I got in a game. Most people would rather DC and prevent giving that sc[bad word] killer points for tunneling and camping.

    4 - that’s not my point
