When Did The DBD Community Change?
I honestly want to know why Key's and Mori's which have been in the game since forever are suddenly a problem. I mean we have Myers who can kill you outright from full with a purple add-on.
Key's are there to help survivors just like the map, flashlight, medkit, and Firecrackers. So my advice is shrug it off and move on.
Mori's have always been a thing. Great piece of advice don't get caught if you do and you die shrug it off and keep playing.
Just shrug it off you died one game, there are enough hours in the day to play more.

i agree but its hard to shrug it off if you get tunneled off the first hook or if they randomly find a key in a chest where you have been three genning them for like 5 minutes especially if they sit at the hatch for like three minutes waiting for you to come over then tbag and leave

I can only speak for myself, but something I've noticed is that the survivor category continually gets nerfed time and time again. At one point even the DBD YouTuber's started bringing this subject up on how this dev team just keeps nerfing survivors into the ground. So although a lot of things remain that you bring up, a lot of the things that people used to counter these things have been taken out. Lets be real, most perks and items are garbage, which is sad since some used to be really good. But it is what it is. People getting frustrated, and I don't know why exactly, perhaps because they are by and large playing this game alone so looking for people to vent with, but these forums appear to be largely dominated by killers. So whatever gets said will be totally biased in that favor.

I think they've always been on the list but now that pallets, BNP, flashlights, insta heals, Self Care, DS, MoM have been nerfed into the ground there's now time to gripe about mori and keys.

I dunno, I've hated moris ever since I first started playing. The original nerf was nice and all but even with the hook requirement they still suck. The only time anybody likes moris is when there is a new killer out and they get to see the cool new animation. Beyond that, they are mostly used by killers who either can't handle a proper game or just want to ruin everyone else's fun.
Tbh I think keys are mostly fine, it's the parameters required for the hatch to spawn that should be changed. I think it should only appear when all gens are completed or when there is only one survivor left. This would solve the problem of games ending early. It would also remove situations where the killer knows exactly where the hatch is and closes it as soon as the third survivor dies. It would make 1v1 EGC situations a bit fairer as both sides would need to search for the hatch.
I'd actually like to see more addons for keys, similar to the recent Obsession aura addon.

This. When balanced landing got nerfed I saw someone looking for sprint burst to be nerfed the same day. I think people just have a list of things they don't like and as things on that list get changed they move onto the next item on that list

I legit can't tell if you're genuinely looking for feedback/a discussion or you're just trying to show off how morally just and woke you are by not caring if you get mori'd in a game.
They're all unfun features that shouldn't be in the game and just because you're not competitive enough that it matters to you doesn't mean it should be that way for everyone else.
People have always complained about them, but in case you're not aware DBD is one of the fastest growing games from a relatively small developer so obviously the larger the community grows the more people will speak up about things they don't like.

Fastest growing. . . I am rank 3 as Killer and I'm Rank 5 as survivor. it takes me 5 seconds to find a game as Killer and upwards of 15 to 20 minutes for a survivor game. I have never played SWF and I have experienced everything in this game that you could experience.
If you let a teabagger or a salty camper ruin your experience then no amount of fixing anything will help. There will still be campers even if they get no bloodpoints Key's and Mori's always will be a thing.
But fair enough since you say Unfun features should be removed.Let's remove
Exposed status, Tombstone, Tuft of Hair, Tombstone Piece, Piggy's Traps, The Killers ability to move, I could go on but why bother. The game is full of things that make us Rage, and Laugh.
In any case I'm trying to tell people to push the chair back walk around the room before they go shouting that this or that should be removed.

Okay you're either just very oblivious or trolling at this point cause none of that made sense.
They literally said today queue times are a problem ON THEIR END. The fact YOU can't find games 1 doesn't mean it's that way for everyone and 2 doesn't mean there's no one playing the game. And once again you prove how little you understand even the basics of the game since all those things you mentioned have some level of counterplay dependent on your skill (hiding when exposed, not letting Michael stalk, etc.) so next time you attempt to be a funny troll try typing some better comebacks.
Now did I ever say campers or tbaggers were a problem? I didn't think so, glad you admitted you have nothing to add to this discussion at all so thanks, I'll push the chair back and walk around.

It's not so much that the opinion that keys and mori's are unbalanced is new. It's more about the fact that most of the other really unbalanced things have been addressed over time. By comparison these things are now outliers and therefore more noticeable.

Rank 1 killer here. Nothing was said about the queue times for red ranks being entirely on their side. There is a reason we get forced with higher ranks, that is because there isn't many red rank killers. Red rank killer just isn't very fun for most people, considering how a lot of survivors act.

People have always hated these and Myers add ons are easily countered by lockers.

I'd like to see alternate uses for items. Use a toolbox to rebuild a pallet (heavy consumption), more addons for keys. Something for the map would be nice too. I don't play survivor much, but I find the items pretty boring. If the killer sees a key, he/she is going to zero in on that. Unfortunately, that means even a broken key might get a mori loaded.

There has been an increase in keys since the closing of the hatch that came with EGC. Plus bnp, and medkits were nerfed, so keys are on the chopping block now. As far as moris, I have always heard a rumble about them on the forums. I suspect they will become more common too now that DCs are being punished.

Moris and keys both shorten the objective of one side tremendously/considerably (lul).
Srsly, both were an issue forever, the complains just weren't as loud as other ones.
