The dark sense challenge

Seriously what is it with the devs and impossible challenges????? Did you not learn from the last challenges? I’ve been trying to do this one for so long fix it

I'd suggest doing the killer ones and working my way around the other side, saving it till last

SWF is the best way, but as a solo at red ranks getting 4 is Fu****g stupid, 3 i can understand, i only got mine because hardly anyone else did a gen. when i done this i had Prove thyself, bond, better together and dark sense... im just hoping they dont use this challenge again, its stupid tbh, im all for a challenge but this is luck based more than skill based soooo

It is doable, but requires you to throw the entire game in order to achieve it, as well as if you're the first one to be found, you can forget about doing the challenge and ######### on the first hook.

I did this challenge with other survivors who were doing this challenge as well, I got grabbed while we were working on the 4th gen, so after the unhook I dedicaded myself to doing the last gen, and what do you know, all 3 of my teammates got slugged, and instead of going and helping them, I had to keep working on the gen cause otherwise I'm really likely to not get the my 4th gen done.

I think the challenge should be toned down to finishing 3 gens so people wouldnt be forced to throw their games in order to achieve it, and kill themselves on the first hook should they be the first ones to be found.

Ironic, you were trying to prevent people from throwing their games and killing themselves on the hook during the event where you had to collect flower nectar, and now you're introducing these challenges, which FORCE you to throw the game in order to achieve them.

Got this one in the frist try, just use the game chat before the game, the most people will try to help out.

It was really tough for me to do this but i did it eventually. the key is to:

    • never be the first to get caught by the killer
    • use bond
    • never work on a generator alone unless it's almost finished and/or no one else is repairing generators.
    • if you see survivors working a generator that has no room for you to help with it, try to get the killer to stop them. (only do this if you're really desperate)

TFW you complete a gen and two others pop.

To be fair, it speaks more to the players then it does to the challenges. You can still play the match out if you don't get your challenge.

I got it thanks to a Legion that let me do all the gens when I looked sad and pointed at a gen.

I have no shame in farming this challenge - I did it once prior but forgot to actually select it after doing the previous one T_T

"I’ve been trying to do this one for so long fix it"

So because it is too difficult for you, it needs to be fixed?

Didnt know you were the center of this gaming community.

  • I’m on my 4th try. I don’t mind the challenge but I prefer it be within 10 tries. I’m using Dark Sense, Bond, Open Handed & Prove Thyself. On my 1st try I was finishing a 4th gen when the killer hit me near near the end and the other remaining survivor didn’t rescue me. :(

    Challanges are too RNG dependant.

Just because you got them first or second try doesnt mean these challanges are fair

Just because you didn’t doesn’t make them unfair.

I still can't do it since I still have to do the very first survivor challenge :P, but I wanted to try it anyway:

Bond + Open Handed + Sprint Burst and obviously Dark Sense.

Did it immediately, didn't think I would be able to do it so easily.

...this being said, I'm still a bit skeptical about this kind of challenges: yes, it made me try a very peculiar build and a different kind of play style, but I can imagine a lot of DC/suicides once the second generator pops for a lot of players.

This might actually make sense, but we both know they dont reflect the skill of the player in any way,at least most of these challanges are 90% luck and 10% skill.

I finished this challenge in two games. I brought better together, sprint burst (so I can run to the generator my teammates were working on), prove thyself, and dark sense. I also brought a key with the add on that allows you to see survivors from 48 meters away with prayer beads stacked on. The key was insanely helpful and Im glad I brought it because it was useful knowing where teammates were. I also beat the challenge on temple of purgation. To me this was the easily challenge the 4 pallet challenge took 5 games for me. Im also rank 4.

Done it in my second game. Bring prove thyself, toolbox and bond.

If you have swf friends then that'll make it easier

I just did the challenge on "The Game" against a pig.

    First try.

She didn't even "let me" do it. I just equipped bond and urban, lol

I did one gen with 2 other people right at the beginning, used bond to find the other person and help him finish the last half of his gen. He got chased off shortly before it finished, and I finished it. Then I used bond to find the other 2 working on another gen, and got there RIGHT in time to finish like...the last half a second of it, but it counted...then I went and did the bathroom generator by myself.

Honestly, The Game might be the best map for this challenge lol.

It took a while but I managed to do it with better together + prove thyself, when someone gets downed you can see what everyone is doing and run to the gen they are on.

It’s funny how now even survivors complain about the gens speed being too fast for them lol

Use Bond, Prove Thyself, Distortion, and Dark Sense. Equip a commodious toolbox with some combination of BNP, charge add ons, or speed add ons. Finally bring a Shroud of Binding, and if all goes well, you guys can pop the first gen before the killer finds you.

Use distortion to work through gens uninterrupted if the killer has BBQ.

It goes without saying that bringing some friends along will make this considerably easier. My friend and I both got it in the same game on Lery’s against a Ghostface (ugh) using Franklin’s.
