Hook distance needs to be addressed.

So i decided to do a game of ghost face since i had a DR for him. Well it was going fine like any other normal game until i downed this one person and picked them up and realized. Where the heck are all the hooks? There were none nearby except one upstairs (this is on the game btw) there's no stairs nearby so i just try to bookit to a hook a good bit away. Of course they wiggle out and run right back to the spot (after pallet stunning me like 5 times) So i down them again realized they on purpose lead me back to that area so they wiggled out again. The 3rd time i just downed them and let them bleed out closed the hatch and sadly the last survivor had waited at the gate and the hatch was downstairs so there was no way i was getting up there in time. Anyways i get added to a group and of course the guys like " Your so bad you have to slug for your kill?" i responded "you were knowingly abusing a area with no possible way for me to get to a hook". And of course he says "get good then" How the heck am i supposed to get good when there was literally nothing i could do he would have kept running right back to that spot? Anyways i feel like hooks should really be addressed and spread out more sometimes you have 2 hooks right next to each other next time there's a WHOLE AREA of the map without a hook. I'm guessing the game registered the upstairs so put a hook there but that didn't help me with there being no stairs to get up.

It seems most likely that you sacrificed a survivor on the hook that would be in that area, which happens quite frequently on the game. Just gotta pay attention to where you death hook people, since that hook becomes unusable.

It's all luck. Sometimes hooks are very near, other times (like fractured cowshed) they're not. But from my knowledge, there shouldn't be anymore dead zones (like the upper floor on Thompson's house months ago).
