So they are planning to nerf "hit for hit".

Hit for hit is were a killer gets stunned as he lunges through a pallet and gets a hit on the survivor pulling it down. This is the last resort a killer has to get a hit during the current loop if the survivor has done this loop right. Even then, it's super risky and it's not hard for the survivor to slam before the killer gets close enough to hit. In order for this to be possible, the pallet stun is delayed. This delay is also why sometimes killers get hit after a pallet is thrown down. BHVR plans to remove this delay and make it stun the killer the very millisecond the survivor presses the pull down button. If you want to see a better explanation, check out Tyde tymes recent video on it. Your thoughts?

I can make it to rank 1 without trying as survivor. As I said in another post, all killers need to just go on strike for a day, maybe then the devs will actually listen.

Dude, most players are both killers and survivors. That makes no sense to claim “all killers go on strike”. If there aren’t enough killers, players will switch to killers.

If you listened to the live stream, they arent nerfing it. After the clown patch, pallet stuns took affect after the pallet drop causing for unfair hits. It usually should stun from the mid to late animation but this wasn't the case. How it is now plus latency creates scenarios especially on ps4 where you stun the killer and get hit, the killer would warp from behind you to the other side of the pallet. It makes it so if the pallet falls on you that you can still swing. Think realism, the pallet doesnt cut through people, it should hit you while you are under it. The killer recieves information from the survivor slower due to killer being host, which is what causes dead hard to fail. Check put the actual dev stream rather than someone's rant on it. I love tyde time's vids but he didn't give the context into why this change is happening. I agree the blood lust nerf is bs which is why the devs did say it isn't gauranteed that it will make it through to the live patch. The devs should understand how fast the game ends, and if you do not have the speed boost, some infinites will not be unbroken. Lower speed but get it quicker? That could help, which they did say they will try out. The ptb for the clown had ptb patch a and ptb patch b, say after it comes out how it doesn't break loops and is horrible, email the devs and show videos so they can see fact vs opinion and they will probably say well, it's time to lower the time it takes to get it. If they listen they can remove it or lower the time it takes to get it in ptb b. Same with any news or media, look at the primary source itself for unbias info. I'm a killer main and I see these infair hits and ai had them against me as rank 1 killer and rank 1 survivor.

the game is no fun, if you'd have to use your brain, so they are making it a braindead win simulator. At least for the survivors.
Killers should just stop complaining and git gud. Kappa.

I didn't see it as problematic. For starters, waiting at a pallet to try and get the stun should be risk vs reward. Either try for the riskier choice and try to get a stun and maybe get hit or throw it down with virtually no risk and no reward. This along with all the other survivor buffs they talked about is just them caving after survivors whined about the first two killer sided patches in forever.

The problem is all in the numbers. They need more developers and more survivors as killer lobbies still take time to fill up. They are really just caving to majority votes to desperately hold on to players until significant changes (alternate or secondary objectives for survivors, dedicated servers, etc) can be made.

Once again, a lot of people not getting why they are doing this, I give up on the killer whiners and survivor whiners lol. I dont think people who complain about this understand how pallet stun timing always worked and how the Clown patch killed it. Not talking bout the vacuum fix, the stun timing changed so killers who shouldn't get a hit gets the hit because the stun registers late. They aren't removing hit for hit, it will still be there. I play many killer matches and I got some hits I shouldnt have gotten because the stun time was wonkey. Everyone listens to some youtuber instead of looking at the data and primary source. The pallet stun is supposed to be mid to late animation like real physics. Now, it creates a situation where you hit the survivor, get stunned, and then warp to the other side of the pallet. This warp is only visible on the survivor side, not on the killer's side.

Hit for hit existed before clown patch when the vacuum was there, and now we still have a higher rate of exchanging hit for hit without vacuum in the upcoming patch. They meant to remove vacuum, not change the timing of the stun mechanic. It was the vacuum that was the issue, how it is, killer stuns are delayed.

Exactly, the problem is hitboxes remaining active for a bullshit amount of time after a stun. A leatherface missed me and tantrums into a wall, I stunned him for points, and his hitbox hit me and downed me ( before the stun he was not close enough, he only hit me due to being sucked to the center of the pallet, and his chainsaw going right through it; not turning off like it should.

People aren't going to switch to killer if it's no fun to play
People main survivor because its easy mode anyway
