What would you change about the archives

For me it would be being able to select multiple challenges, like 3 or something

I wouldn't mind having some more of the harder challenges like 6 foot under if i was able to do easier ones along side it

What would you change? Or wouldn't you change anything at all?

I would've loved to be able to select multiple ones at once. But then it probably wouldn't be much of a grind so it's probably why they didn't do it that way

More diverse challenges. Many are just recycled over and over again. Also, I really dislike the "Complete in on trial" challenges. They force you to do things you often don't have control over (grabs are prime example).

Yes and no - in a sense, they made the challenges difficult and limited how much progress you could gain in a single match to reduce the grind when it comes to Rift progress. Theoretically, the more time people spend in games trying to complete the challenges, the less time they need to spend grinding XP for Rift Fragments if they still want to progress after finishing all the challenges, and so the less wearisome the grind to complete the Rift feels overall.

I would make more skill based challenges rather than luck based ones and I would avoid making challenges that encourage toxic gameplay.

No challenges that will make the other side have a terrible time, like encouraging basement builds over and over again.

I'd delete all "complete in a single trial" challenges tbh. They are just stressing me out.

But my issue with it comes down to RNG based on survivor's rifts. I've had games where the team just didn't really want to do gens and wanted to play very immersed. As for killers, it comes down to if you're able to zone survivor's well enough. For example sacrificing 4 survivor's in the basement. Maybe I should try and do this with a T3 myers build.

I would make it so you get more rift xp.

Yeah, I get it, you have to make it grindy so bla bla bla.

You know these "in a single trial" missions? They are stressing me over a lot, because most of the time you cannot control if the killer wants to be stunned, of if the survivors want to go near the basement/or even unhook the person on the basement so you can catch them, because they want to genrush gens because of their missions.

Where do I want to go with this? You end up REALLY stressed up. So you obviously want to take a little break, I take one everytime I fully finish a tome along my friends.

It's the end of the year, exams, work, vacations etc builds up, so you really don't wanna be too stressed -- neither take too much of a break, because there is a time limit, as the rift closes.

Not only that, but everyone genrushing makes it so it takes 0 time to end a match, and because of that, you won't get enough XP for a single level.

I would make it guaranteed that you have 1 rift progress every match, and a little more xp, so you can get that little satisfaction of "omg I got two fragments just because of 200extra xp holy crap I'm so lucky!!"

Fr, I had to do 130 matches at first but now they are even more.

I don't know if I still want to play killer tbh

Lower the requirements for master challenges that require more luck than skill.

Move master challenges to the center of the web so the path to the epilogue isn't blocked OR create nodes around the master challenge to give an alternate path with the same fragment rewards in total, but with reduced bloodpoints.

    Remove character specific/perk specific challenges.

Remove challenges that are basically impossible at red ranks (eg. basement 4k challenge).

Remove "Complete in a single trial" challenges, or just make them less luck based

I would like to see an option where a player could select the following:

[X] You will earn no player experience in this trial, you will earn no blood points in this trial, your emblem score will be zero and you will safety pip.

Yay,. now I can do the insane challenge and not depip.

I think that being able to choose one side and stick with it. I want to be able to play only killer because I am not good with survivor especially since I play solo survivor.

Most people have already got me covered with this main point, but make the killer challenges more in line with the survivor ones. It feels like a majority of killer ones are all simply RNG based. This may be mainly due to the large emphasis on "Complete in one Trial" challenges.

It'd also be nice to do multiple challenges at once, especially with smaller challenges like grabbing one survivor, but it's mainly the difference between killer and survivor challenges.

Archives is meant to be a grind, but it's 2 different grinds. Survivors just have to work, while killers have to go out of their way and hope that people don't completely screw them over.
