Dcs should count towards hook/sacrifice missions
Title, people sometimes dc to deny challenges, I literally wouldn’t completed the kill four survivors one first try but someone dced.

Right, because those few points help out a lot. If an entire team DC's that's barely enough points to buy items on the bloodweb.

and until they realize the actual problems for ALOT not all ALOT of the DC's they are still gonna happen, either that or people will insta kill themselves on hooks

Ehh...Me DC'ing is depending on the killer (how they play) my team (if they are potatoes) and If i get hit through numerous walls (seems to happen A LOT anymore)

That literally doesn't even explain why DC's shouldn't count towards hooks/sacrifice. All you did was explain your excuse for getting upset and DCing.

Except when they disconnect, it's not because you played bad. You didn't "lose" anything. It was stolen from you.

The reason it should not count as sacrifices is because it is a seldom action with loss to the survivor who disconnected. And the reason for that is from both Survivor and Killer reasons.
Lose and Lose, you did not Sacrifice the Survivor. You did something that angered them, or the other Survivors did something that angered them.
That survivor lost items, pip, bloodpoints.

I think they should have it be where dcs give 625-1,000 points in the sacrifice category to killers, and 1,000 points in survivors category.
No one except the person who leaves should be punished, not the killer and not the other team members who kept their stuff together. At least in my opinion.

While a part of me agrees, especially for hook/hit triggeted perks, I'm also afraid it'd somehow be mixed with legitimate kills in the statistics, the same problem we have with hook suicides.

Just play the game. If the killer is annoying play and then don't send a gg. That's it. No point in screwing your teammates

Yes, the issue is people get angry because they're losing. The winning team does not deserve punishment because they're winning, even if the loser wants to go have a tantrum and quit.

Killer DCs should also count as Escapes for the Survivor Challenges

At least when they suicide you get your sacrifice missions and it helps with sacrifice missions. But it still denies points for hooking which sucks.

. . . You know it does, right? That's the reason you get an extra 5k BP if the killer DCs. They count it as an escape, unless you've already died.

I think that's more an issue with the challenges/achievements. When a killer DCs you get the BP and it says survived (I believe) so the game itself counts it, or at least the match does, but the achievements and challenges don't.

I'd be perfectly willing to let any of you ######### DC so long as I am not punished for it. You're denying me a pip because I'm winning, that's the bottom line.

nahh Im not also not gonna stay in a game when I have teammates that aren't doing #########, and aren't gonna come and get you until you hit struggle just to be farmed off the hook, and have the killer be stupid enough to down me again and I die..
Its been happening way to much and honestly, it shouldn't be the normal game play for survivors and it is. As I have said before if you are killer main and dont play much survivor, play survivor for a full day, then come tell me how you feel. <3

Thats all the killer mains cry about tho, Ive had many many many many killers DC because of a map offering LOL.
Not sayin which one but, I have a feeling I'm gonna be burning that map offering even more now, tbh, I never really cared about anyone who dc'd but now, people need to see that its both sides not just one lol
rage quitting..Ive had killers dc their ruin, or devour was popped. And that's another thing that they cry about, that its not fair it gets popped so soon, well there is a perk that makes it so you know if they are on your hex.
Im just tired of people crying and saying things are fair when they have the perks to fix it. honestly

You are in the wrong. I agree with KeepDCPenalties. I am both a survivor and a killer. I have every achievement except for the new Chapter's. I have reached rank 1. You are not in the right just because you think you are. Don't play a team game if you are going to cry and DC if it doesn't go your way. In the description you gave, you would have died in 5 seconds anyway, but you chose to be salty, just because the killer doesn't give you a freebie. They are the killer. They are supposed to punish survivor mistakes. The team screwed you over? That does suck. It happens. But everything you described is still a child's tantrum.

The difference is, if the killer DCs, I get to keep my items, I get 5k survival points (Which is a category I pretty much only get if I survive), and I get to start a new game right away. It costs me my offering, and my queue time. I do not know if you lose challenges due to killer DCs, because I have only had a killer DCs within the first few seconds of matches since the Tomes became a thing.
If a survivor DCs, the killer doesn't get their add ons back. They get Brutality points for some reason, not Sacrifice. Survivors are now stuck in a losing game, and they will likely lose their items. It is unlikely anyone in the game will pip. If the killer had a challenge to get a 4 man sacrifice, they cannot get it, even if they were about to get their third hook. I have had survivors literally DC right before the hook to deny my 4 hooks, because I should be 'punished for playing basement trapper'. It is not the right of the survivors to punish the killers. It is not the right of survivors to punish other survivors to 'playing like potatoes'. It is a team game. Not every team will be good. Go play killer or Skyrim if you want a solo experience.
The only points made here are that DCs should count as sacrifices for challenges and missions. MrsMaliciousX has expressed the exact issue with some survivors; she thinks she gets to punish killers and survivors for not playing how she wants. And she is right. Because the game is set up to allow her to.
