It irritated me how they said there won't be any christmas ambience in the lobby. It really adds to the holiday. I'm happy with the ugly sweaters and the new Dwelf cosmetic. Just add some lights and snow, done. I'm satisfied with no event.

Know what the problem is? They said they were not giving as many events to spend more time improving the game....but guess what? They don't improve it at all, and the bugs take them forever to ######### fix. Even small bugs. So basically they are just interested in pumping out cosmetics in the hope that you spend some actual cash

You’re right, we eat cake year round because we like it and we wear Christmas cosmetics year round because we like them. Not having an event doesn’t make cosmetics any less appealing, especially based on how many people use Christmas cosmetics.

What are you trying to get at? I'm not mentioning anybody, I'm just saying an IF. And how do you exactly know they will have exactly 0 impact on us? Or better yet the "Devs" at Behavior? You don't know, I don't, but that is not the point. I don't know why you're trying to bring up something that I didn't even mention.

Ah okay, no worries! I just wanted to clear it up because I thought it might have seemed to someone reading your comment like the devs were planning something unusually big and special for the next Archives, which as far as we know isn't the case.

They already said they were not doing any events (like the flowers for Halloween) and instead focusing on fixing core issues for the next while.
Basically we will mostly see just cosmetics and BP boost events for a bit.

That's not true! We have a new chapter now; and it totally didn't introduce tons of game breaking bugs.
Honestly, given BHVR's track record for updates we're probably lucky they didn't introduce Winter stuff before their holiday break; we probably could have had a repeat of December 2017.
Imagine facing a Plague with Empathy; or New 0 TR Michael with a Chainsaw.

It has been almost a month since the new chapter, and there are tons of new game breaking bugs. Basement, scratch marks, dcs from the servers and more.

DBD this year in a Nutshell
Releases OP survivor perk MoM which didn't get fixed till 2 months later.
Releases Ghost face and proceeds to get nerfed the following week after he was complete trash in the PTB.
NO Summer Event at all, only thing we get is summer themed cosmetics.
Halloween Event sucked, tied to the rift and no secondary objective added just some lazy hook and gen designs.
Bugs more than ever before after archive's
Oni released and get's eviscerated overall the following week.
More bugs added in Cursed Legacy Chapter and no fix.
No Christmas Event but we get sweaters.
No firecrackers for New Years and still more bugs.

Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure they did the same thing with demogorgon except for the background change. They added it's chase song at the loading screen. They have oni's chase song and the new map as a background. I'm not sure why that should even be a pet peeve
