Franklin's needs to be changed

It's easy to say that a survivor can get really pissed when a killer gets froggy and decides you can't use that toolbox you earned or brought. While the purpose of the perk is entirely understandable, it's not fun to play with a killer that forces you to drop your weapon every time you get hit.

Idea: Remove tool dropping; instead, reshape the perk to waste charges based on perk level.

It already wastes charges based off perk lvl. If your basing perks off "fun", pretty much ANYTHING the other side brings is always gonna be "unfun" to you. Its unfun that the killer can see your aura, or that healing takes longer due to sloppy butcher, or that the killer can 1 shot you, ect ect. Your gonna be hard pressed finding a perk the killer uses that the SURVIVORS deem as fun to be on the receiving end of.

How about no? How about we remove DS and BT because it costs us a kill that we earned? Franklins is a very important tool, and it's not that hard to go pick your stuff back up.

Franklin's creates sweet, sweet salt very consistently. No reason to change FD, and Plunderer's instinct essentially counters it anyway. If they nerf toolboxes I would be fine with a Franklin's nerf.

Haha no, I will run Franklin's on my Nurse until my last breath. Keep on the salt. Don't bring overpowered stuff.

Yes it needs to be changed .. Buff the Charges loss rate . Or make the item break on impact after 5 times dropping or so .

I think they should increase the loss rate to 20%, 10 hits to destroy the item is too much.

Tell me the "OP" stuff besides keys. Franklins is for sweaty, ego killers and it's a waste of perk slot.

I will explain to you. Git gud and protect the gens. Good players will heal and repair gens with or without toolbox. Toolboxes are extras for "confident" Pop/Ruin/Franklins killers like you.

You can just pick the item back up when you can. If it's a key hide it somewhere you'll remember (and if in SWF tell the others where it is too) until it's needed.

You can also bring Plunderer's as it shows you the auras of items, I've escaped with keys the killer knocked out of someone's hand in an obscure location I'd never find it otherwise several times thanks to Plunderer's 😄

And besides Franklins is fun on Hag as you can trap items if the survivors consistently rush back for them.

The only thing that should be looked at would be the interaction between Franklins and White Ward.

    Other than that, its fine.

Honestly I think Hex: Devour Hope is pretty fun to go against. It creates a lot of tension and pressure if it isn’t destroyed at the start of a trial.

DS, BT, brand new part, purple flashlights, and commodious toolbox to name a few.

The irony of telling players to "git gud" while also whining about Franklins and advocating the use of toolboxes to escape from strong perks...

Whenever I use good items all I can think of is they oughta just be gone. Id be down with brown (lol) items/addons only. Id like to see one map with reworked add-ons. Keys I would replace with a new item: compass. Basically a key. But a compass can't open a hatch lock, can it? Add-ons could pretty much be the same as the keys, with some tweaking. I like the idea of having firecrackers a normal item, as someone suggested in another thread.

If items weren't so strong their impact wouldn't be so varied and would be a great step towards balancing the game. I will even say that I am a survivor main. This is just my opinion. Before anyone gets all bent out of shape ask yourself if you really want a balanced game? Or do you want it in favor of whichever side you main? Balance implies an equal chance for each side to win. A win meaning a Killer 4k or all Survivors escaping. A draw being a 2k. Just to clarify.

Just like my homie Nike said, 'Just do it. j'.

If I brought in a rare item with white ward and I notice the killer has Franklins, I jump into a locker and suicide on the hook. Not gonna risk that I wasted my rare item + offering at the same time.

If you bring in an item you risk it being lost. Get over yourself.

It's also not fun going up against 4 tool boxes w BNP. If you come into my lobby and theres 2 or more, you better believe I'm running Franklin's.
