I Have a question...
Before closing the Hatch was a thing. What did you do when the Killer wiped 3 out with only one gen done?
Did you just dc, suicide, or did you play the darn game and try to do a gen to get the hatch to spawn.
This is the same deal now, you have to manage somehow to get a gen done and open your lifeline a second time. Why is it now such an impossible feat to accomplish?
Its not an easy walk in the park, but it can be accomplished, and if you pull it off, you for sure have bragging rights. Where as before just stumbling into a hole and WINNING was nothing to be proud of.

survivors just don't want to lose thats the thing, if every survivor just accepted defeat this wouldn't be a problem

They tried to do the last gen ofc, only rarely the last survivor held the game hostage, but it happened too
Dont worry about all the survivors crying, they always do when they have to adapt because something was changed for the killers favour, you even hear some guys crying for a "small vacuum" again

I mean I've completed 3 gens as the last guy before and gotten out of the gate. There's an achievement for it called Left for Dead.
It isn't super difficult if you're really good at stealth. You just need to be able to move back and forth between the gens to keep the Killer guessing, as well as be able to actually lose him in case you get caught.
The new hatch changes demand more skill from the Survivors. It's no wonder they hate it.

Well, the small vacuum I actually get. I see some problems with the hatch closing mechanics as is, but I dont think the basic idea of it is bad at all, and much of the complaining is biased towards survivors, my only problem with hatch closing is concern towards it being closed MULTIPLE times.
The vacuum issue I think is more geared towards the fact that its actually hard to pull down pallets now, not that the teleportation is an issue. Between issues where it wont pull if you are holding shift to having trouble finding the actual point where it will let you pull it down, the removal of pallet vacuum is aggravating

The vacuum needed to go. The teleportation WAS the issue. It made pallets way too easy to use. It actually makes sense now. You either don't hold shift and you stay same side, or you have to run to the other side and drop the pallet. I instantly adapted the first game I played, and still have the same amount of time during my chases, because I never looped before, these changes don't affect my gameplay that much, so I don't have to worry about over committing to a particular side. You either pick the right side and get away, or choose the wrong side and/or get too greedy and let him get to close and you get a trade at wosrt and downed without using the pallet at best, in which case the Killer will be forced to stand on top of you, because remember, the pickup vacuum was also removed for Killer. This means downing at pallets, which happens more often now, is extremely risky for the Killer, as the Survivor is STILL given a second chance opportunity, given that a teammate happens to be nearby.
Literally, this is an adaptation issue. They COMPLETELY changed how the Nurse's blink worked, and despite a lot of criticism, it stayed in the game and Nurses were FORCED to adapt. No one asked for that. But it turned out to be somewhat better, but still harder to learn.
It's the same case with the pallets, except it isn't hard to learn at all. You literally just hold shift or hold it. I'm not quite sure why people don't have full control over their body and are unable to lift their pinky off of shift.
Again, I'll use fighting games as an example. Games where you must be aware of EVERY SINGLE INPUT YOU MAKE, or you WILL lose. It's the same concept here. You need to be aware of your inputs. Really guys, it isn't that difficult. What is this "soft vacuum" nonsense people are talking about if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure you dropped this in the right post, but thanks for the down vote to everyone else. Use the forums correctly would you.

The forums correctly? I was responding to someone saying people were "crying for a "small vacuum" again" so I was responding to that with why I understand the complaints, as well as responding to my opinion on the complaints about hatch closing, which was the topic of conversation. My opinion was I have no problems with the hatch closing and that the complaints are biased by survivors who cant be bothered to try to win a game that is meant to be stacked against them due to their current status.
This wasn't meant to down vote anyone, its an opinion, and I respect that it may be one based on myself not being accustomed to the new system and just struggling. I would appreciate not being insulted for trying to state my view on a point of conversation.

So mostly they just give up, not surprised considering all the flack in the forums over the Hatch being closed on them.

Doing a gen when you're the last man standing against a killer with half a brain. Lul!
