When will the dedicated servers be fixed?

Having so much fun at the moment both as a survivor and killer, these window and pallet hits are so on point, the hitboxes are working great, the game works perfect. Lunge, killer movement speed, survivor movement speed, fast vault, slow vault, medium vault, doesn't even matter, the game doesn't care that the survivor is 3 meters away from the window and is already running away from it, no, no, let's count the killer swinging at air/window frame as a hit, well done.

Having a good laugh as killer when I see a hit that should have never connected even on P2P with 160 ping and of course dying of laughter after I get hit as a survivor after I fast vault and get hit while running away from the window.

Also, did anyone think that dedicated servers would fix lag-switching and lag abuse? Haha, good one, killers are able to abuse their bad connection (or lag-switch if they wish to), they get no negatives of having 1000 ping and stuff yet the survivors get all the negatives which include being hit from literally 50-100 meters away.

The game's state is simply amazing, it's good that I'm only playing for the Archives and mainly playing killer because as killer I only get positives of these garbage servers, too bad people were constantly asking for dedicated servers, now I will never be able to actually enjoy the game like I used to before this mess was added.

With time. It's not an easy process to iron out all the bugs. Best way to get everything fixed is do live tests and figure things out as they go along.

How many months has it been since the dedicated servers came out? Since PTB people were pointing out how bad they were, and what do we have now? Nothing has changed, all the problems stayed.

This. The screaming minority were declaring lag switchers and other such deviants as being responsible for all their woes, up to and including late rent payments. They never blamed their own lack of skill, so what we end up with is a system that is horrible in comparison to the p2p we had.

I only ever encountered 1 lag switcher through hundreds of hours of gameplay. I had more issues with Survivors macro'ing flashlights to their mousewheel and attempting to force me to disconnect. That happened a few dozen times or so. p2p was just fine and I truly wish they'd revert until they can fix and polish the dedicated servers. Then reimplement them, test, see how it works.

Exactly, never had any problems with P2P. Bad ping in the lobby or it's very unstable? I leave it and find a lobby with decent ping, that's it, all the lag problems are solved. I could even play with US players on 170 ping and it still was a decent gaming experience with little to no bs window/pallet hits. Imagine how bad the servers are if hits on 170 ping in P2P were better than the current 30-50 ping.

The issue is, these things can never be fully fixed. Improved? Maybe, but with centralized dedicated servers, desync (which causes the pallet and window hits etc) will always exist. No way around it.

Thats just latency at work. On P2P, the only latency was you to the killer. Now that there is a 3rd party between, the killer has a latency too. The real latency doubled.
