If I'm honest it's hard to play without spine chill and resilience
The vault speed is so damn useful I'll be pretty sad if this gets changed or Nerfed one day

Requirements: Two perk slots, you need to be injured, killer has to look at you.
Benefits: +15% vault speed which makes a difference of 0.075s for fast vaults and 0.135s for medium vaults.
Conclusion: It is very unlikely that the devs will even consider nerfing it.

i cant dedicate server people if they run goddamn resilience spine chill :/

I personally think spine chill is overated. It's a good perk but once you get used to the game your eyes and ears are all you need.
From what I have seen It tends to make people stop what they are doing at the slightest hint of it lighting up.

I actually don't use it for that fact I just use it for the vault speed

If it flickers on and off then you know the killer isn't headed toward you, though. If it stays on for more than a couple seconds it's time to move

I personally run it as an anti-stealth killer perk, I dont like getting stalked
and also as an emergency heal/repair perk, those %s really do the difference, never tried to blend using it, it's stupid i dont get why i would have to run and hide every time it lights up (well, i dont get stealthy survivors so)

Also I find it to be good against Freddy have had many situations where I get smacked in the ass when asleep

yeah, me too, they should make his song directional again

I wouldn't say training wheel perk, more like situational. It's great against stealth killers like Ghost Face which is used a lot in the meta right now. Probably why a lot of people are running Spine Chill.
Using it against killers with a terror radius can be useful, but not really needed since you get a warning when they are heading over to you.

I've tried running Resilience and honestly I don't feel any difference in the vault speed. I still get hit through walls. Which I guess with Spine Chill it's better, I dunno if I've tried that.

Why would experienced players do that?

I have no clue but they do. You'd be amazed at what mistakes experienced survivors do.
There are many reasons for it to light up for a secomd or two as it just has to be in the range spine fhill sees. They can be vaulting a window, breaking a pallet or just chasing someone in the general direction.
That's why ears and eyes are better imo as you don't rely on something which can be negated by them not looking at you and think you are safe.

When I get hit by bs hitboxes, I just call it getting dedicated/compensated. (lag compensation)

It takes away 2 perk slots that could otherwise be more troubling for the killer... they already rightfully nerfed resilience where you got healed faster by teammates and it doesn’t need anymore nerfs. They’re very solo-survivor friendly perks too in that they can’t be used to greater effect by SWF. Defo don’t deserve any nerf.

Eyes and ears? Where do I buy this perk?

It's the best perk in the game and you don't even need to grind for it. You also can use it on killer or survivor 🤣

Nah legion doesnt get it. He gets deaf and blind just from existing lol. And not to mention demo and oni dont have ears due to their loud ass stomps. Also no killer has eyes on a corn map so theres that too

I feel you there. The combo makes me way more confident when I go for vaults. But I get TRIGGERED when I get hit through windows. I've been running them with iron will and Sprint burst. Works pretty well for me.

Quite the opposite. I'm actually MORE LIKELY to stick with something unless I see Spine Chill, as opposed to running at the first sign of Terror Radius.

Agreed.

To any new survivors please don't pick spine chill right off the bat. I did this and now I can't leave home without it. Get use to finding the Killer with your eyes and ears, first, then maybe put it on.

I made the same mistake 🤣

I find spine chill to be a requirement nowadays, especially with the stealth killers being added and how often people play them.
