A Question for the Devs
Is there plans to revert Oni to his post-PTB pre-nerf state? I will agree PTB Oni was a little ridiculous, but the change to his flick post-PTB felt like overkill and seriously hurt his lethality. I would like to know if there's plans to revert this change, or to give it back in a weaker, but still better than now, state.
Thank you, and have a great day.

Ask any Nurse players past or present that are on these forums and I think you’ll have an answer.

Oni and Nurse aren't really on the same level, and Nurse still retains a majority of her lethality.

No they won't, in the stream, they already stated that the flick was not part of his mechanism, probably only to promote sales

That's unfortunate. I know the devs answer some questions on here, so I'd love a concrete answer, but I'll keep that in mind.

Console players, such as myself, would simply like to be treated to the same standard of care that our PC brethern are.
There are numerous problems with console DBD, but everyone on console asked for Oni to have the same flick that he did on the PTB.

I doubt it. The changes they made were very deliberate, so they're not planning to revert them. However, I believe they are aware of the problems with the killer currently, and they do have plans to make further adjustments to him so that the adjusted "flick" feels more manageable and easier to use.
Right now, he can barely turn at all at the end of his dash, except in the very last millisecond. From what I've heard, the plan is to adjust this so that he can still only turn 90 degrees at a maximum, but he can do so more smoothly and consistently than is currently the case.

You can't flick like that with a controller.

Sometimes to keep silent is the best thing to do, you have no idea what you're talking about, what does that matter when console and pc will never collide worlds. Console players learn to adapt be it 360/limited swing rotation/moonwalk etc. The main issue is actually the sales bait they made oni out to be, no other killer released has that much stark difference overall performance in between platforms and it leaves a sour taste in the community mouth.

He’s over performing on console so he will likely be nerfed I read. That and lobbies are disconnecting anytime he’s played so it’s not a great sign.

Everyone has their platform of choice, and the killers should be similar on all platforms.

90 degrees sounds like plenty, I hope it comes soon. If it does, I might just drop Billy for Oni.
