The Nurse Is Calling!

Yeah, she is still being technically the strongest killer in the game,

but she is exhausting, and extremely stressful.

Not so good speed, very dependent on maps, vulnerable to map issues and bugs, dedicated servers, and Dead Hard granting one free dodge from the Nurse’s attack which is really painful.

Too many stressful factors bcs of which I barely can see her.. and Survivors just run straight forward from walls when she attempts to get line of sight on some people.

Does not she be less stressful?

I don't think she's stressful, all I know is that I love her.

If any skill is needed all there is crying about being stressful. GitGud.

What you described there doesn't look like the strongest killer to me.

Tell me..have you seen many nurses? And how many won? Unless your still seeing god nurses frequentlt which spoiler alert your not..the claim shes still the strongest is not only highly debatable but honestly..Even if she was what's the point ..? I love nurse but never has a killer felt so clunky and restrictive as oni and nurse do right now

This pretty much sums up my opinion. I can still 4k with her when I play her seriously, but man is it just not fun. Give me an M1 killer instead any day of the week at this point. Not worth the stress.

I saw two nurses since the nerf. And the countless times myself of course.

She's still insane, but like many players mentioned exhausting, stressful and unfun, more than any other killer.

    I don't think she's the strongest anymore

I feel that availibility should matter a little and she just ... isn't

Sure if you put a 1000 hours in nurse you can destroy survivors

But put half of that in hag and you'll destroy survivors just the same without feeling stressed about it

If she's the strongest survivor still then how come she scored the lowest in kills?

She is still the strongest. She bypasses the entire looping meta. Its just that you need to even more focused as mistakes get punished ridiculiously hard, which can be mentally draining very quickly when you do multiple matches in quick succession. And for new players she completely came out of favour, since Spirit offers near enough the same amount of domination, but with way less time invested to learn.

Killers aren't simultaneously at odds with gen speed while refusing to use the strongest killer in the game.

If you're a competent Nurse and you get Autohaven, then yeah, chances are you'll be in good shape. Lery's, Hawkins, the Game? Oof. A corn map? Separates good Nurses from average Nurses, but she can still rock it. Red Forest or Ormond? Really hope you brought range add ons. My point is, while she still technically can be strong, she's very map dependent. That alone puts her more in line with Huntress in terms of power level at this point. A god tier Huntress will absolutely dominate on a favorable map, same as Nurse. And even a god tier Huntress will have severe limitations on an unfavorable map. Spirit will do 90% of what Nurse can do at peak Nurse capability, but Spirit will also outperform Nurse on many maps such as Lery's. And we can't forget Sanctum Of Wrath. I'm convinced Nurse wasn't even playtested on that map. There are a ridiculous number of blink deadzones. It's unplayable.

Yes, Nurse at her peak is better than any other killer. But she's the only killer that gets judged by her ceiling with a simultaneous disregard for her floor. And certain maps put a hard cap on her ceiling, regardless of how skilled the Nurse player is.

The Game is Nurse's best map. It has a superior sound, is really small horizontally, and is mechanically easier to blink than Lery's.

She's terrifying on The Game. Garbage on Lerys and Blackwater. She needs a buff of some kind really badly. Better lunge, 110MS, or revert the base kit. If you miss the lung out of blink, which happens WAY too much, you're never catching back up.

105% MS would be ok. She was better on the Game before Iron Will and Spine Chill became meta. I find it to be survivor load out dependent. The bottom floor can be rough with all the LOS breaks.

105 would work too, it's just that she has no map pressure with the cooldown. Anything to give her a chance. I'm fine with LOS breaks as I am decent at predicting survivors, it's when the game decides that you can't blink through something, or it takes you three rooms away, or the DAMNED BASEMENT, that's when I want to throw my keyboard. I was legit looking UP at the sky and it still blinked me into the basement.

I think the biggest impact of her changes was that it made her more difficult to learn, because the punishment for making a mistake puts you in a situation where you can not afford to make too many mistakes.

I would really appreciate a sandbox mode where we could walk around as either killer/survivor without any other players/an "idle" player so that we could get acquainted with the maps/tiles and also get practice with each killer's unique mechanics.

As it stands, "Trial by fire" might work with the majority of the killers, but it definitely disincentivises players from picking up some of the more skill-heavy killers.

I agree. People saying 'git gud' and 'she isn't stressful' are either masochists, or lying. Otherwise I would see her a LOT more than the three times I saw her in December in high purple ranks.

Oh for sure. I end up playing 3 and 4 gen with her because of her lack of map pressure, and starting a chase from too far away means you might not ever catch up to a survivor. And yeah, she's completely riddled with unique bugs right now. I managed to blink inside the tractor on Thompson House this afternoon. Not on top of it, like actually inside of it. The only thing that keeps me coming back to her are the games where gens fly, I don't get screwed by random pretty-good-job-so-fars, and I end chases in 15 seconds and keep pace with the optimal survivors.

Yeah, she is in a pretty horrible state right now. The Yamaoka map riddled with deadzones, the game sometimes robbing you off blink (turning you into a 1-blink, seldom into a no-blink Nurse),m and the post-blink-lunge sometimes being laughable short.

All this crap nerfed her more than the actual nerf.
