Why people are so competitive?

Dead by Daylight is more casual game than competitive, you shouldn’t be so sweaty and so aimed for “winning”, there are a lot of things you simply cannot control and being competitive can be extremely frustrating, ESPECIALLY as Killers.

Research and try new builds, find very interesting of them and have very fun and interesting combos.

Bloodpoints and exciting chases (which is the most important thing in DbD) - all what you need, ranks are still being very unfair at “some” points.

You sound a bit entitled saying people "shouldn't" be this way or doing that. If you have fun memeing and chasing survivors on Ironworks of Misery for hours then good for you; some people get their enjoyment from winning. Just accept not everyone plays the way you do, easy as that.

They should add a casual mode for that let people be competitive if they want

It's fine to be competitive as long as it doesn't involve genuine entitlement, hypocrisy or unrealistic personal goals.

I'm competitive just because it is fun to win and get better. My goal is to always get better and better. Sure, it's fun with friends to joke around sometimes but I personally get enjoyment for that meaningless number and pips to go up and up.

"I'm going to sit at the exit gate and die to the end game collapse timer because I like fun, I don't need to win, I'm not competitive."

It's a pvp game with a ranking system. That in and of itself will attract people with a competitive mindset

I have fun when I am trying my hardest.

Because if you try to win you can see how you get better match after match and that's quite fun

People like to win. There's nothing wrong with being competitive as long is it's kept at a healthy level.

How many times have you let your opponent either escape or sacrifice you at the end of the match forgoing your own "win"?

How many times do you attempt to accomplish your objective in the game?

You are just as sweaty whenever you don't freely give up your win and attempt the objectives of your chosen role.
