Please bring back the matchmaking "glitch"
I wish they brought the "matchmaking glitch" back, where it would show you the rank of the other survivors. I understand they might've taken it away to avoid lobby skipping and because let's face it, their matchmaking is not the best. But it would be so helpful to know who we are playing with, either to know not to rely on them as much or to try to help them or have somewhat of a knowledge on how they are most likely to react/play.
I was playing as rank 2 survivor and didn't get saved and my teammates were doing basically nothing, turns out they were rank 20.... the killer was red rank.
Top tier matchmaking y'all.

I wish but it will never be done... but nothing is said when killers dodge toolboxes/keys/a squad of blendettes.

Not exactly, if I had known I was gonna play with 20 rank survivors I would've played differently, I wouldn've been more immersed and would try to help the newbies. Knowing those things can be a game changer.

Have you tried to play as a red rank survivor? especially on console? it takes FOREVER to find a match, so lobby skipping is almost nonexistent for us, we just basically play what we get because we don't wanna sit and wait for the next lobby. So no, I don't want it back to skip those lower levels and wait 40 minutes to find a match,

Meh, the lobby wait times it doesn't matter what else they do. Just fix it so we can play the God damn game.

I wish they'd bring it back too. But if I am concerned about my teammates I will look at hours played and trophies real quick instead of rank anyway.

On console it's insane how long it takes to find a match, at least there almost no one would skip since it would take longer to find a new lobby lol
Unfortunatelly we still get a LOT of killers skipping lobbies, super frustrating to wait again after finally finding a match :(

A quote about why they removed it;
"When people see that the other survivor's ranks are lower than theirs,they Dodge making our matchmaking worst. That's one of the main reasons it got removed"

That hasn't helped their matchmaking AT ALL. It's still awful. I see no difference from before it was removed and now. But maybe it's just me...

Admit it, their "we don't want people dodging lobbies" rhetoric is just a BS cop out cover for "our matchmaking sucks, but you should be forced to deal with it until after your rank 20 team mates screw you over".

I'm starting to question the Rank 20's now. Since this matchmaking bug, I swear the higher ranks (Purple, Red) are absolute potatos. I'm having literal Rank red Claudettes marathoning across a map after being unhooked, just to get downed within 3 seconds again, but a brown rank lasts longer and even escapes without any help

So if three brown/yellow ranks show up in the same lobby as you, you would stay and play the match normally?

this. Yesterday as Solo rank 2 I played 9 games in a row and only 1 had people who were in Purples and Reds, its a complete joke.
Is avoiding a terrible experience due to the broken MM system not preferably than being forced to endure a lost cause of a match?
Imagine if you are playing a game like Siege and you are Plat+ and you are on a team with all Coppers and Silvers. That is the state of this game's matchmaking, and instead of readjusting/reverting the system to looking for the average rank (which is arguably a better experience for everyone not only in game but also for Queues) they instead say "well you're red rank, but if you knew you got matched with rank 15s, you would just dodge the game, and we can't have that now can we"
