Obsessions disconnecting
I wanted to hear people’s opinions on my idea about the obsession leaving the game.
so perks like dying light, remember me etc rely you to have an obsession to be able to gain stacks related to that perk, now if the obsession dc’s it’s kind of unfair because it pretty much renders your perk completely useless because some of the perks require you to keep the obsession alive.
my suggestion would be if the obsession dc’s the game should pick a new obsession automatically based on the other survivors perks DS etc.
I know that perks like nemesis will allow you to change obsessions or getting a survivor to DS you but that’s unethical and there should be a system in place if something like were to happen.

I did think about that but a strong 3 man swf can be difficult even at least from my experience anyways.

3 v 1 is better then DL already. 3v1 in early game is just about guaranteed win for killer

Relates to this, so you notice Object of obsession users DCing a lot in your games?
I swear it’s like most of them run it because they want to taunt the killer and think they can loop and bully you the whole game because they see streamers do it... they you down them first and they DC.
Yestesay had an OoO that camped and dropped like 10 pallets then as soon as I got her she DC, she screwed her team over so hard making it 3 vs 1 and using up a lot of safe spots.

Doesnt have to be OoO. I sometimes run STBFL for example and it really sucks when Im just not allowed to build stacks because the obsession DCed.

I would prefer much more a 3 vs 1 instead that a 4 vs 1 with perk full working

Boi, the survivors are much more disadvantaged than you and your saying when someone DCs and the survivors get ######### way more than you do from your small debuff but you think that small debuff should be eliminated. If u lose a 3 man game with 3 perks you didn't deserve a 4k with 4 perks

Ah, finally found one of those guys that sweats for all the kills when one survivor immediately dcs or suicides. Like people say, 3v1 is advantage enough.

But how often will you meet a strong 3 man swf? Most of the times you'll get solo survivors or a 2/3 man swf who don't destroy you in a couple of seconds. Depends on rank though i guess

Most of the people posting replies are just giving you the same old biased replies you'll see every topic, low key defending DC's.
Having a good, fun, game with a few stacks on your Dying Light, spreading out your hooks and struggling to keep that last gen from popping?
Oh, the obsession DC'ed, but that's ok because 3 v 1 is easier ;3

If you're at 3vs1 you already have a way bigger advantage than any dying light perk or such stop being so entitled.

I think fixing the game will help a lot in all the disconnect honestly. They don't need all these little caveats added.
Imagine being a survivor and waiting 20 minutes for a match. Finally loading in and you're going against a boring ass forever Freddy. Nobody has fun playing against that, I don't care what they say. It's boring as #########. I'm dipping and playing something else.

You'd have to be kidding to say killers should be buffed in 3v1 scenarios. If a survivor DCs early the team is screwed already and you want killers to be pampered so the devs change the rules for them. There'd be no way to balance this against survivors that dc on death hook. If you want a guaranteed obsession on demand run Nemesis. You can't say running a perk isn't a viable counter when the only counters to camping and tunneling are DS and BT. Hate to sound biased, but there's no reason for this to be implemented.

I stated that DC's are usually low key defended on these forums, and provided an example of it destroying a solid/fun match's integrity.
