Ok, time to get something off my chest.
What the HELL is wrong with you randoms? I've had 4 games in a row now when I've been constantly being chased and they're all hiding.
Do a goddamn gen for god sake!!!
Why is everyone wanting to hide nowadays? Just do a gen whilst someone is constantly being chased.
My most recent game started off with me doing a single gen through Ruin against Oni. Me and the random Steve were constantly being chased and taking pressure off the others to the point where Steve died on his first hook because I was busy being chased and the other two hiding. I then go down to see both of the randoms hiding. I get saved by a Nea and then she Urban evades away. The Oni is now back on me, I go down again to see them STILL HIDING. Because nothing was gonna get done I let go during Struggle to then spectate and see that they both went down straight away to his Blood Fury.
Is anyone else having similar circumstances? I can't be the only one right?

Tonight has been pretty bad on PS4. For me as a solo survivor anyway. So many useless team mates at red ranks.

Happens in every solo game... thats why i usually play with friends, ranking system ruins the experience for solo's... The skill gap is just to big on same rank sometimes

tell me more bout it lmao,yesterday i had a game in which i did all 5 gens ALONE WITH RUIN and had 5 chases in total all of which lasted longer than 1:30.Luckily it was on Rotten Fields so my teammates would be able to blend and urban evasion around otherwise they'd die instantly.SoloQ is a ######### nightmare at times EDIT: forgot to add,match lasted 23 ######### MINUTES

Blame the new match making system. Potatoes are climbing into red ranks and staying there permanently.
Majority of my games is Survivors prematurely opening exit gates like holy crap its 2020 and this is still a thing.
I didn't think Ranks doesn't matter statement was completely true but now I firmly believe it. Oh well.

Current matchmaking combined with school holidays made the perfect storm of absolute solo survivor hell. Every match ends up a potato salad buffet.

Escape is just a bonus and is literally not important.
This is why balancing the game around a metric that is as meaningless as surviving is bad.
do 1 gen, save someone and heal, get chased, PIP.

Had a random cost the entire team the game cause he didn't unhook. He just ran passed hooked survivors and hid. Just to end up dead anyway. I thought he was a rank 20 the way he played. But he was actually rank 5 which makes it worse

They’re crap. That or their ranks 15-20. The matchmaking system is awful right now.

A lot of Survivors are very boosted because of Survive With Friends and it’s really messing up the matchmaking right now. Low rank Killers have long lobby times because there’s not enough low rank Survivors in their proper rank. High rank Survivors have long lobby times because there’s too many high rank Survivors in the wrong rank.

I constantly play at red ranks on both sides. You're probably just lucky. I get idiots like this when I play killer too.

No, actually. When I'm killer, all the survivors are super altruistic, gang up on me, and taunt. Lol. It's annoying but I don't give up. As survivor, it's different. Some are helping, some are hiding. Some DC, some make decisions that help kill everyone. I stick to myself as long as rituals or challenges don't require me too, and of course when another survivor needs help and if it isn't a bad idea. Lol

Green rank killers in PS4 are constantly getting full red rank lobbies very unfortunate if you want new players to stick around

Solo survivors tend to hide a lot because they have no idea what's happening elsewhere or if the killer's close by. Unlike SWF they don't have voice chat which provides most aura perks for free. So they play ultra cautiously.
Just another reason why the SWF-solo gap ruins the game and why it needs to be closed.

They can literally see my icon changing from healthy to injured.

Happens to me a lot the few times I solo queue as a survivor. Of course I'm the only one doing gens,being emersed so we can at least have a chance of escaping. The 3 randoms either A they are so emersed that the only productive thing they do is cleansing totems or they get chased and die in a matter of seconds. In some occasions if they are found/down first they DC. Honestly ( it could be because of my doctor addiction that I have lately ) but I find playing killer more relaxing than playing as a survivor since,most of the time if I die then we all die since nobody is doing a gen.
Lately I run maps and toolboxes in order to have a chance,tho these problems could exist because I'm only rank 13 as a survivor XD

Maybe they were both looking for the ruin totem? That tends to happen a lot. That or they're just goofing off. Or noobs.
As for the obsession chase indicator. It'd be nice if Behaviour added chase indicators for everyone and just make those of the obsession a different colour. An easy solution that would help close the SWF-solo gap without cluttering the game with auras.
Anyone who would be against this idea must also be against SWF, right? 😉
If not I'd like to see how they'd argue that logic.

Im a killer main. But when i do play survior. I do try to help the others when i can. But i just worrie about myself. But luckly i dont play survior alot. Only doung challenges or i need a break from killer

Sounds more like a rank 20, a half decent survivor knows that if they are not being chased then they need to do a generator
