The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

IS there any plans for the common and iridescent perk tiers back?

I know they were removed because of a spawning issue in the bloodweb but that seems like a lame reason to remove them. Most if not all wiki and informational dbd apps have the original perk tiers because it makes it easier to see the tiers. I know you can add them with packs but i dont think you get the common perks and that doesnt make the banners when you hover over them the right color and its just all in all not the same.

I would rather not have to go through 100 bloodwebs trying to find the level 3 of a specific perk because it is ultrarare. There have been so many new perks released since this change that only old perks would be changed back, or they would have to re-tier all the new perks. The devs would also have to explicitly decide which of the new perks should be considered ultra-rare in T3, and i'm sure plenty of players would disagree with whatever decisions they made.

Also, many of the perks that had vast differences across tiers have been reworked since then. The difference in value gained between tiers of those perks aren't really what they used to be. (Ex. NOED used to only provide 1-hit downs at tier 3 of the perk)

Its very obvious which perks are the ultra rare ones. The perks that start as green are ultra rare in t3 since right now the go green, purple, purple.

You're right there. But why would you want to spend more points to get the level 3 version of those perks? Especially if they aren't stronger than one of the other characters perks. For example on Bubba, Franklin's starts as a green perk currently and BBQ starts as a yellow one.

I think the system is fine how it is now and don't really see any good reason to change it back.
