Fog or dark mist. Should it be different?

The main problem is most of the killers too tall to hide them even if addon was their's. Doubt it's popular addon for killer. But why it so expencive?
I understand why survivors have fog increase addon. they can play stealth-mode by crouching in far distance. But why killers have same not cheap addon? To make them harder to find survs? Dark mist not that tall enough to hide tall killer's head in long distance. There are some addons for killers to increase difficulty, but it increases blood points.
I think there should be differences in killer/surv fog addons. Like surv's addon add fog closer to ground, so they can crouch-stealth. So they'll be covered but killer's head should be noticable.
And killer's fog should add fog for distance and be tall as killer. So survs won't notice him untill killer close to them and in most cases they forced to locate killer by terror radius.Survs already have camview that far higher than killer's view. So why killers should buy or even tolerate purple slot? there are lot of purple addons more useful than this hardmode. I guess Freddy with this thick mist barely can see. (ofc killer's for THEIR fog addon should have better view in front of them)

Dark Mist / Fog is only useful for survivors, even for the trapper, the fog doesn't really help at all, as the distance at which you spot traps in the grass is less than 3 meters anyway and fog isn't rendered/shown/obscuring anything at that distance... .

Killer's version of that offering need a total rework in how it works.
It would be a stupid idea to even use that offering as a killer in the first place, it doesn't really help you at all, due to issues you have described.

Maybe make it a double edged sword, leaving how it is but also obscuring aura reading abilities, even those inbuilt, especially for survivors, such as a survivor in a dying state or on a hook, basically an offering that causes blindness at X distance.

    Two reasons:
    1. They counter each other out. So if someone uses a slightly increases one and you use a slightly decreases one, they cancel each other out and the fog doesn't become thicker/thinner.
    2. You can sometimes use thickening offerings to your advantage. A pig, for example, may want to use this to help sneak up on survivors. Or a trapper to help hide their traps.

It's definitely not a "must have" in all situations, but there are times when it can be beneficial.

I don't mind cheap addons of 3k. I doubt in usefullness 6k addon. Cause even for killer purple 6k addon only increase fog thickness. To counter that logically should be addons to decrease thickness or increase light (opposite of red addons for surves).
For time I played, I've noticed 000000 killers use that addon. So I guess it should be reworked or deleted, cause sometimes you have to pay 6k for terrible addon.

Trapper traps have already been debunked above. If the Pig pulls someone off a gen, I assure you it had nothing to do with the fog. Does the fog offering muffle the Pig's "USE SPRINT BURST NOW!" declaration?

Kinda off topic but I wanna point this out by saying if you disagree with DC'ing... Why do you DC then? (Just tell me in my profile mail so we don't derail this thread) Just so ironic because I expected you to stick with your word. :(

They remove moonlight because it "affects gameplay" but fog is just fine :/.
