So my first 4 games on PS4 DBD.
Many of you know I only got the game yesterday and I’ve had a blast last night. I played 3 games as survivor and 1 as killer. Game queues where no longer than 2 minutes on each game.
My very 1st game 3 of us escaped (including me)
2nd game the killer got us all.
3rd game I was the last man standing, the killer got me and dropped me in the hatch to let me escape????
4th game I played the killer with the traps and got everyone.
really enjoyed the game can’t wait to play again tonight 👍.

Two things:
per point 3: some killers will, for any number of reasons, give the last person the hatch. I personally do it if the last survivor either impressed me by playing well, or if they were obviously the weak link and I feel bad for them.
per point 4: killing everyone your first game as killer is actually super impressive, good job! I got bullied so badly my first killer game it’s a miracle I decided to try killing again at all...

I was probably the weak link haha. I’m finding it hard to hit the skill checks on the generators. I didn’t think they would be so fast lol.
when I played the killer there was 1 person who seems really good. He was running me around some walls so I just left him and went for the others.

4 kills on your first game as killer? Impressive. And as for your 3rd match, sometimes killers let the last survivor escape. Depending on what happened in the match, sometimes I do it too. For example, if the last player was the ace of the match and I felt the others were just plain bad and that player was unlucky to get them as teammates, I usually let them live, as long as they were not toxic.
Also if the player was super unlucky, like me finding them over and over by luck and them getting farmed by the team. Or if the last player decides to keep fixing gens instead of looking for the hatch, I take that as commited to keep doing the objective and carry them to the hatch after they are done with the gen.
Try to have fun with the game. There will be times where it will be very annoying, like you being found first, downed, hooked and the killer just face camping you until you are dead, but better matches will appear, so don't give up.

I don’t know what rank anybody was but I really didn’t find it that difficult to get the kills in that game. I think people got unhooked about 3 times.

i know right lol, my problem is I always come to these forums and I’ll be honest it nearly put me off buying the game. People saying don’t play killer and don’t player survivor. but honestly on my life I got everyone on my first game as killer. Like I said they unhooked each other about 3 times and 1 guy was giving me the run around but I got them all in the end.
I have been watching twitch and YouTube videos for about 3 days before so I had a rough idea of what I had to do.

Welcome to the game. Enjoy those first couple months. They are the best. Try to keep from becoming bitter and salty like the majority of the playerbase =p
