EGC Entitlement survivors need to stop
I'm sorry but this is getting crazy on how many survivor mains are crying that it isn't fair. Why are most (not all) survivor mains so entitled to think that every thing in the game should be catered to them. If a killer kills three of you and finds hatch and closes it before you, why should anything be added to make it easier for you to escape after this? "Gates should open faster" "Hatch should reopen after awhile" "sometimes the gates spawn to close and its easy for the killer to find me"
YOU FAILED YOUR MAIN OBJECTIVE YOU SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR IT NOT THE KILLER!
Why does it need to be easier for you to escape after failing your objective? Why do you need to be rewarded for an easier escape option? Why should the end gave with one survivor left need to be in that survivors favor? It shouldn't be in your favor and it shouldn't even be "fair" it should be in the killers favor because once again, YOU FAILED YOUR OBJECTIVE.

They didn't say this. Their post is about how if the survivors compeltely failed to escape (gens aren't done, hatch wasn't found first), then they aren't entitled to yet another second chance to escape.

I agree, and for the most part, the game punishes killers for mistakes much more than it does survivors. Survivors have many get out of jail free cards, while killers get punished much more severely for their misplays.
it is much more stressful to be a killer than it is to be a survivor. The only stress survivors really face are jump scares, which don't happen when you get used to the game.

They shouldn't be entitled to easy 4Ks like what Ebony Mori does. But if they outplayed the survivors in a straight up game, there's an incredibly valid reason why they should feel entitled to a simple 4th kill instead of it being more difficult than the previous 3 kills.

Honestly. I play solo survivor and Killer in Red Ranks. And I think the Hatch spawn mechanic should be reverted to 2 gens for the hatch to spawn. The Hatch should stay closed when it is closed and the door speed should remain exactly what it is.

Once the EGC activates, the killer has earned the 4k if there's one person left. The survivor should be at a heavy disadvantage.

I agree, i am a survivor main who recently started playing killer but still 80% of my time is survivor, killers get punished for any simple mistake they make and when survivors make a mistake we can still avoid punishment i'd say about 60% of the time, idc how anybody spins it survivors have it so much easier and STILL demand it to be easier. And I agree with what somebody else said, hatch shouldn't spawn at all until there are only 2 gens left, theres no reason for a killer to be able to kill 3 people and the hatch spawns for the last person. Survivors fail objectives and still get rewards its annoying and stupid there is no reason for it to be this easy

No they shouldn't be entitled to 4ks but if they are outplaying survivors and get the 3k and everything else they are entitled to making it harder for the last survivor

Survivors do have the option of using keys, so there is no need to change the mechanic. It's the survivors' choice to prioritize other items over keys.

Assuming groups of the same strength, the current system seems fair.
However, the devs are currently doing everything to avoid that happening other than in SWF. Pipping as survivor is super easy. Along with the new rank reset this floods purple+ ranks with people who shouldn't be there much faster than before. The new SWF matchmaking puts two rank 20's with me in the lobby without me knowing, just because they queue with their higher ranked friend. They all know what they sign up for and are ok with it, as the random survivor in the lobby I have no way of telling I have lost before the match has loaded.
At least for me it's more the rule than the exception that my fellow solo teammates are way below my skill level (and I'm definitely not god like, I know I'm not perfect so I'm not expecting perfect teammates and still I'm massively disappointed).
Solo life is at least for me frustrating enough and whenever somebody says I've already had so many chances by the time the hatch gets closed that I don't need another one, I'm really wondering what chance they are talking about, because it feels that already by the time I got put in a lobby I had exactly zero chances and didn't even have to begin playing.
There is of course always another solution to all of this, which is to go SWF with teammates I trust. It's rather a novelty that killers prefer to face a SWF of good survivors who are fed up with the solo experience that gets them one kill at best to getting three kills and giving the last survivor a remotely decent escape chance to make up for all the rank mess.
Just my solo survivor view, probably my last one, because I'm seriously considering going SWF as a goal for the new year, solo has definitely become worse over time as the devs "tweaked" the survivor emblems and ranking.

you know, as much as i want to agree here, lets not forget the killer not only denied them their first escape route (gens), but at that point their second escape route (hatch) aswell.
the simple fact that there even is a third escape route (gates) is already super survivor friendly. if one complains about it still not being enough, thats really just entitlement at that point, sorry.

The only thing people ever complained was gates spawning together in the killers los, and honestly the you already lost arguement is so dumb that survivors could just say if 5 gens got popped the killer shouldnt be allowed to down anyone

i've seen more than that, i've seen people saying the hatch should reopen after a minute, or if killer closes the hatch the gates should be 50% open or open faster, i've seen killers shouldn't be able to close hatch, that if killer closes the other the doors should open up automatically

I have seen people asking for moris basekit, Noed basekit, survivors only be able to recover exhaustion stopped, Sprint Burst be nerfed to not be 99ed. 3 morons asking for dumb changes is not a very good reason for you to adress survivors as entitled or even make a post wasting your time like this

It should be a 25/75 percent ratio. The survivor or killer should never have a 0% chance of escaping/killing, which is exactly what happens when the gates spawn on the same wall or opposite of the map.

Eeeh if they are able to kill 3 survivors before a door opens, find the hatch first and close it, get lucky none of the chest spawns a key, and are able to guard the doors you can't really call it entitlement anymore
At some point if you outplay the survivors so many times a 4th kill isn't that much to ask for

4k under 3 minutes is the target balance standard.
Killers are absolutely entitled to 4k. The game is called dead by daylight. Not survive by daylight.
With kill rates at 75% (red ranks), we are getting closer and closer to our target

Ultra rare add ons stress me as survivor, hook rushing followed by suicide followed by DC followed by not give a damn sweaty killers stress me, waiting for a game and getting dodged multiple times, survivors camping hatch, survivors not going for saves at all, killers face camping for no reason other then confirming the kill, survivor teaming with killer, sandbagging. I could go on..

Throwing around a lot of buzzwords here. I haven't seen a lot of posts about survivors complaining about the EGC. I've seen more posts about toxicity, SWFs and DCing than EGC...it's not the cool thing to complain about yet
