When rift closes..
Can I still keep my challenges from the archives unclaimed for the next rift or do I have to redeem them by the end of this one to keep progress?

Once the rift closes, the shards will be disabled, so you can't claim them on the next rift.
I think that you can still "save" the bloodpoint rewards though. I'm not 100% sure on this, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Will the logs for the stories also still be available?

You can always do the challenges and claim the rewards. The Tomes never expire. You won't, however, be able to get Rift Fragments from older Tomes. Only the most recent Tome will give you Rift Fragments.
Short version is, there's no point in saving them unless you're just holding onto the bloodpoints.

If multiple Challenges have been completed and the reward was not claimed, it will not be auto-claimed when a new Rift/Tome are released, correct?
