I'm gonna miss Ruin, guys.

Ruin was a perk that, even if only for 25-30 seconds gave you a chance to sway the game in your favor. Now that it's being gutted, nothing is going to prevent survivors from being able to pump out gens in 3 minutes.


One could argue that Pop Goes the Weasel is a good alternative. While its a good perk, it won't do much against teams committed to generators, as you won't have enough time to do anything with it.


Corrupt Intervention? Again, good perk. But still not enough. Survivors can just wait out the timer, or one can loop you over by the blocked generators while the others work on the unblocked ones.


Turning Ruin into an "endgame pressure" perk was not how to address it. NOED outclasses new Ruin by a mile.


If Ruin 100% HAS to be nerfed, why don't you just slightly increase great skillcheck sizes while Ruin is active, or remove the hex status from it and give it a 2-3 minute timer, similar to Corrupt Intervention?
