Soo not a single survivor change?
This seems really wrong how killers powers/perks always get changed to accomodate survivors, but nothing gets done to accomodate killers
Sure we got instant heals and balanced landing nerfed, and what else? Every update lately has a killer nerf
With this ruin change, generators will get done even faster then before, and there isn't anything to change the fact of this.
I am not sure how the devs are planning to improve this but this change is not welcome (to my eyes) either buff other gen perks like corrupt intervention, surge, pop goes the weasel (we got a total of 5 perks to slow down gens, it's time for more to be implemented)
And why won't the gen regression is improved overall? When kicking a gen it should regress faster then it currently does

TBH I did not see any survivor changes except bug fixes. Fun.

I just meant that killers have been nerfed way more than survivors in the past few months nothing,else.
And i'm saying devs are survivor biased cause:
First off they still have all the badly survivor sided maps.Cowshed,thompsons,blood lodge for example,and they are deciding they would rework lerys.I get it,it's doctors map,but please for the balance sakes balance maps that need it more than lerys.
From what i heard about doc changes,he will be worse and it will be more fun for survivors. Ruin nerf was made to make the game more fun for the survivors,they are doing everything to make more fun for them and not doing the same amount for killers. They are helping killers but in alot smaller amounts and are doing it alot slower. Freddy rework took 2 years for example.
Low tier killers aren't being buffed at all,which connects to doc being made fun for survivors.He's probably gonna be weaker.
Gen speed and toolboxes are still a problem.
Sound issues come around with each patch to the point you can't even hear survivors near you.
All of those are the reasons i think devs are surv biased. Those are some reasons

What "survivor perk nerfs"? Ah, you mean those that, at the time they hit the live build, were already irrelevant because of several other game changes and meaningful survivor-buffs?

And they "balanced" safe pallets and hooks spawns :)

MoM was broken af, that's like saying that old unrelenting and STBFL should still be in the game and were undeserved of a nerf.Kinda bogus of the devs to put MoM as a cash grab so people would actually buy Ash then proceeded to nerf it because people had already bought it, which seems to be the trend with recurring content released in this game. Until they balance the maps this point is moot. They are reworking Lerys rather any of the other maps with god loops. They could've blocked these windows off at anytime but they just let them live.
Haddonfield was way more important to rework than Lerys. Since when does anyone complain about Lerys? I never have a problem on that map as survivor.

The new ruin is total garbage. Then gens are gonna rocket by.
But it might help killers like Gorgon, n Spirit who can patrol gens super easy??? Maybe?

Yeah let's talk about them, MoM was a disgusting perk that was basically a third hit for anyone with 0 skill involved, combined with Deadhard and old DS good luck. The Balanced Landing nerf was a cheap excuse of a bandaid for Haddonfield. DS was basically a second chance perk that made your first chase with the killer just a complete waste of time for him. Ruin slowed the game down for about 30 seconds and you're without a 4th perk the rest of the game, people still work through it anyways while one or two people go out and find the totem.

Insta heals were annoying and broken, remember that survivor items must be multiplied by 4, how much of that affects the killer?
Balance landing was the only exhaustion perk for survivors that had an extra effect, why would it?
Mettle of man was broken since the day it arrived

Most killers have received nerfs that only apply to 1 or 2. A survivor nerf is much more impactful as they are skins so you nerf one thing and all are needed. Granted ruin was a massive nerf but it's the first all killer one in a while

Cool, 2 things that made the game wildly unfun for killer were nerfed to be only annoying.
One of them which was blindingly and wildly op was nerfed to the point you have to put actual effort into getting it.
And what did we get in return.
Legion was basically tossed into the dumpster faster than a newborn on prom night.
Ruin, a perk that helps low teir killers have a fighting chance was murdered in it's sleep.
Nurse. Poor ######### nurse. She needed tweaking but jfc.
And now Doc, who was arguably one of the lowest ranked killers that was only barely above legion and old freddy, is now basically having his power removed and replaced with a one use per survivor tracking perk.

I read the patch notes and played enough hours to at least give an opinion. I think it's balanced from both sides unless your of coarse going against a full squad who play the game for a living. Or a killer who camps or slugs instead of using the perks and addons they equipped. Alot could be the deciding factor but mine is that change is good for both because who wants the game to be the same all the time?

The past year or so of survivor nerfs (from the exhaustion changes to present) would like to speak with you.
-Healing speed nerf on top of a self care nerf on top of a sloppy butcher buff making self care one of the worst perks in the game
-Mettle of man, insta heals, balanced landing nerfs
-The missed opportunity to make No Mither have an actual use (if you don't bleed, you shouldn't drop blood orbs against Oni. I still stand by that but it's not a serious issue because the perk is still dumb)
-Nerfs to gen speed when working with other survivors
-Leader nerf
And plenty more that I can;t remember off the top of my head. To sit here and say nothing is done for killers is a false narrative thrown around in this echo chamber forum.

Object of obsession nerf with introduction of undetectable.
Vault speed nerfs
Green medkits reduced to one-use speedy brown medkits
EGC while not a literal nerf did more to ensure survivor death than any changes in the past year.
Nerf to stealth with louder breathing, footsteps, and sound added to dropping off ledges. Not to mention each new survivor is louder than the last.
I am not debating whether a nerf was needed or not just listing that they did occur.
But yanno when survivors get nerfs it's considered balance, when killers get nerfs it's considered favoritism.
