Why are you going to remove ranks from the tally screen?
So why are you going to remove them?Why can't you fix this mess you have put yourself into,instead of digging yourself an even deeper hole?

My guess is it's easier than fixing matchmaking. In the last dev stream before Christmas they made it sound like they weren't going to be able to fix it.

Ranks are totally meaningless and they should have done this a long time ago.
Matchmaking still needs to be fixed whether post-match ranks are shown are not, but at least now we might get less morons blaming matchmaking whenever they lose a game.

What will even be the point of having ranks if you don’t know what ranks you’re playing with/against? For all I know I could be rank 1 facing rank 20s which is currently already happening.

How is that stopping them from hate messaging them? If people want to hate on somebody because he played bad, they will do so. But seeing the rank might make them think okay well at least he/she/it is a newbie.

Guys just to be serious for a second , that s to late or they need to sell their game at a other compagny because this is not going in the right way this game will be dead a the end of the year

It wouldn't be a very smart approach to the problem though, from now on everyone will just assume the other survivors who played badly are very low rank, and let the hate messages flow even more.
So yeah, I doubt that's the reason. I'm more inclined on them deciding to open up match making to a very high range in an ultimate effort to fix match making. Hello rank 16 killers against rank 1 swf :)

Technically it’s not official since the source is leaksbydaylight, but there’s a very high chance of it being real and the devs have not denied it yet.

I like to think that the whistleblower of leaksbydaylight is a killer main Dev, which during every meeting is trying to express himself only to be shut down by the others: "We'll take your suggestion about a key rework into real consideration, thank you DreamyKillerMain. Now, on to our next point: let the Exit Gates be openable even when only 4 generators are done, but you need 25 seconds instead of 15! Everyone agrees? Good"

Yikes and I thought removing ranks from lobbies was shady.
It's pretty obvious they're matchmaking is and has been pretty terrible but instead of fixing it they choose to hide it so we can't see the problem.. These Devs.. wow.

This is not a big deal for me I mean I'm not very good at surviver and still I'm red ranks, so the ranks don't say much anyway. And if you are a red rank killer you can feel no pressure when having a bad game because for all they know you could be rank 20.

Some players think it's a good idea to report players because they are 10 ranks below them, like they cheated but it is because the matchmaking is broken at the moment.
