It's a 60% win rate for red ranks killers against survivors of all ranks. Devs admitted that only killer's rank is counted and the survivors ranks from his match aren't. Just yesterday I saw a red rank killer playing against a rank 15 survivor and again, these matches count for these stats too. So these stats are very misleading and don't justify survivors outcry and bias.

I'm not crying. This doesn't affect me. I don't use Ruin. Or any gen slow-down perks. Never have. I run Beast of Prey, Distressing, BBQ, and Whispers.
I chase survivors around, get boosted BP due to Beast of Prey, and I can half-ass the match doing nearly nothing and walk away with only profit because I don't use add-ons or offerings. It's perfect. I can play survivor and just chillax on gens; I refuse to put more effort in just because it's later in the day and survivor queues got longer so I had to switch to killer. I don't care if gens go fast or slow; I love my BP build.
But just because it doesn't affect me doesn't mean I don't see why killers use Ruin and how this change only fixes problems on the survivor side while leaving the problems on the killer side intact.

Do i need to remind that on PC , where we have 60-120 fps , skill checks are easier but also survivors are a lot stronger most of the time due to the imput of a mouse and a keyboard. So Ruin stopping that extra % progression from great skill checks is also very important ?

that doesnt mean freddys bad. players come in all skill levels just because hes in red rank doesnt mean hes good.

The perk was strong only vs newbies. I dont think it is a bad change. Killers will get less kills on average, but its more good than bad.

Even if your evidence is anecdotal I don't see what people are confused about regarding your point.
Of course he doesn't have a big study but come on guys, his point is clear: that ruin isn't 100% necessary and even against red rank players it's not necessary.
I'm not personally going to try and argue with somebody who can't understand a simple point like that, but all I have to say about this topic is that every game is different. Some games the survivors will have many safe pallet setups and whatnot, and some games they might get a crap map.

I never said Freddy was bad, the person who created this post thinks killing baby survivors means Ruin isn’t needed. Clearly has never faced an optimal team before. That Freddy was actually a great killer against solos btw, I just don’t want to give out his name.
