"Wow, you guys are making a big deal out of the most useful killer perk being destroyed, chases in my lobbies only last 25 seconds who needs ruin, if you need a perk to set up/try and snowball before 2 gens pop with your no mobility tool killer you're obviously are garbage. Don't mind my posts crying over insta heals that granted people 1-2 free hits with little effort getting nerfed, just part of the game mang."
"You guys haven't even tried this awful perk that even we laughed at, you act like they're never going to revisit this perk, remember when Legion was sloppily nerfed into the ground and 8 months later they gave him minuscule buffs because I sure don't because that doesn't matter to me."

"You killer mains forgot us survivors had our perks nerfed too, like MoM and DS. All MoM did was give me a free, guaranteed hit during chase that required me to do absolutely nothing to receive it but those trash killer mains complained and got it nerfed to where you need to do something to get a free hit. DS was fine as is, so what your first chase with the obsession was thrown down the drain via a skillcheck get over it."

To be fair I understood why it had that effect just because normally it's really rare to find 2 spots you can jump off of during one chase but on Haddonfield it was game breaking. They should've just fixed the map but what can you do, BVHR is gonna BVHR (fixing symptoms of a problem rather than the problem itself)

Aye. It was always the exhaustion perk I chose for that very reason. Just figured I'd bring it up, since it's become a heavy go-to from survivor mains when they need to try to demonstrate how downtrodden and oppressed they believe survivor is, especially when trying to argue in favor of each fresh consecutive killer nerf as of late.

No I understand what you mean, the thing that makes it so great is it's one of the only survivor nerfs that was uncalled for thus making them as much of a victim as killer is to the nerf hammer and that we should just accept it.

I don't see what the problem is honestly. There are TONS of slowdown perks in the game, a lot of people argue for using Pop over Ruin, and Pop synergizes well with a lot of killers. Dying Light's changes made it pretty darn strong. You can run 2 of many slow down perks to get similar effects to Ruin, and some don't require a hex. Also, after being chased off a gen that no one saved, I've come back to find it nearly empty of charges and that's with normal regression. With 2x, imagine how fast that'll be, and people aren't gonna be looking for it as hard because it's not as annoying.
I'm gonna slightly miss it because it went well with my Freddy build, but I don't think it's 100% necessary with all the gen slowing perks there are in the game.
Good killers don't HAVE to use Ruin, there are even examples of such killer players. Saying it's necessary is just not true.
Also, no one defended Mettle of Man, and you're just trying to create stigma between survivors and killers for each other with your post.
