Ruin nerf. More buffs and nerfs?
Okay am i the only one not so sad about it.
There shouldnt be perks that are must have in builds. Id like to make all kinds of builds and combine less used perks together but then im like... But there are this and this which are better and im just sticking with same perks.
And its also boring to face same perks every match.
Same problem in survivor side bt and ds kinda must have because tunneling and camping. But its just a strategy to use.
I want to see more variations in matches. Not just same perks everytime. I hate using bt for example. There are other fun perks but i dont wanna get my teammates killed because killer is going after them ofcourse. And its sometimes valid strategy to pick someone off and then theres one person less making gens.
I dont know this is too complicated but id hope to see more buffs and nerfs this year to balance things.
Yeah yeah gens speeds are fast but could there be other option to that than just making it slower...

I hate seeing the same perks every match. I also hate USING the same perks every match. Although I have BBQ on every killer I am a bloodpoint-poor killer, who needs every point he can get. Killers now get an extra "variable" perk slot now Ruin has been fixed. It's going to be a lot of fun for both killers and survivors...once the killers get used to it!

That’s the problem though, they want killers to have that variety, not Survivors. Notice they don’t touch BT, DS, Unbreakable, and Adrenaline, the meta perks.

Honestly, with the ruin Nerf, I doubt it will get much use other than with high mobility killers. Even in it's current state, I tend to switch it out with devour hope every now and then, but with it's new effect, I probably won't use it unless I also have surveillance.

The problem is the gen times, not the use of Ruin. Nerfing Ruin doesn't magically solve the problem of gen times, quite the opposite is going to happen.
It would be like nerfing BT and then saying "now we solved the issue of tunneling".

We see 80% are using Ruin in RED ranks
New players have trouble hitting great skillchecks...
How are new players in red ranks?
Most killers are using Ruin, because they get gen rushed and are not mobile enough to pressure effectively all the gens. That's why most killers are using Ruin.
The new nerfed Ruin favours mobility killers, as if they needed it in the first place...
Instead of addressing the reason why the community feels the need of using Ruin in 80% of their games, they make Ruin enjoyable for the survivors and harder for the killers.
I myself don't use Ruin. I prefer to sacrifice 2-3 gens and setup my hag then terrorize and pressure the survivors. But not all killers are capable of doing so.
