The Ruin change is going to make survivors more toxic, at newbies’, solos’ and killers’ expense.

Because boy howdy, we can talk about how toxic a blackface Bubba can be as the day is long, but survivor toxicity is so darn special it effects everyone not in their little sweat group.

And those nasty survivors are and will get more toxic if and when these horrible changes make it live - meanwhile everyone else loses because of it.

Newbies will suffer, ESPECIALLY as killer because CLEARLY there is no regard for the fun and experience of new killers, but baby survivors too. Those “veteran” survivors will eat them alive when they see them do things that play into the supposed scenario for new Ruin - heck, we already have gems that proudly admit screwing over a survivor for healing. Imagine what they’ll do now.

Killers will suffer because now those toxic survivors know there’s no stopping them (because it was literally stated Ruin is essentially a newbie trap) and they’ll bang out gens for extra craps and giggles.

And solos will suffer simply by virtue of being solo: killers will gun for solos harder if the others are giving them grief and they want to vent their frustration on the easiest mark, and just the same with newbies, one toe out of line and the others will willingly serve the solo to the killer. They might do it anyways because survivor toxicity knows no bounds.

Tldr - the only people who win with this Ruin change are the toxic kind and they’re the ones who should be getting a swift kick to the ego.

Honestly, there should be a feature that puts the survivor in place if they teabag too much or flashlight click.

Toxic people end up commenting on my profile on how I used NOED, camped them even though they made stupid hook saves, etc. I even closed off my steam profile and turned off postgame chat just so I couldn't see another GG EZ baby killer in my chat.

Ruin is oppressive against newbie survivors ( I play with friends who are Rank 15-20) but it doesn't deserve this kind of treatment

New survivors SHOULD be facing new killers or rubbish killers. Right now a rank 16 survivor can be facing a rubbish killer who has unlocked Ruin. I think that is too rough for the newbies.

Killer mains that don't play a lot of survivor but want to do the rift may also be bad at skill checks so hopefully they should benefit too.
