Ruin nerf, doc nerf, and lerys nerf after recent oni an freddy nerf not biased at all
Why all the nerfs to killer? No one is going to want to play killer . if you think survivor red rank lobbies take long now to find a match wait until this ruin change goes live

You guys really need to be more transparent with this stuff. People will always jump to conclusions, and with the way those designer notes were worded, I don't blame them. For this game's sake, I sincerely hope you guys wake up and smell the grease fire you're fueling.

Fair enough I'll wait for lery but you guys said it's one of the best killer maps and your track record thus far have been a bunch of killers nerfs lately so it wouldn't suprise me if you made lerys more "fun" for survivors

I hope you are reading forum and see what have you done with these changes. I want to ask you if is totaly ok for you reading dev notes:
"He's been a polarizing figure since his release, and we felt it was time to revisit his kit with an eye to making it less frustrating to play against him."
"It's the lack of action needed on the part of The Doctor to find nearby Survivors that makes it feel annoying to play against."
"One last thing we've addressed is the frustration of using Snap Out Of It to drop from Madness level III to Madness level II."
Ruin "change":
"We took a close look at the perk to identify what makes it so frustrating to play against."
Do you see that whole patch is heading against killers and comforting survivors??? Have you read that notes twice before releasing??? Its big slap for killers.

I actually love versing Doctor, can anybody tell me why someone would think it is frustrating to play vs him? Beside maybe new players with less then 50 hours of course.

I've been waiting for years that Behavior remove some loops "infinities" and fix speed repair "rush-gen".
now?, nothing.. but ey devs nerf ruin..
I know maybe should to play Civilization.

surely we'll have to try the new doc, so let's give you all the benefit of the doubt, but if the leaked patch note is true (and usually, it is), you failed to mention that:
- after a shock shot there's a 3 seconds delay (!!!!!) before another action can be done - can you still deny a pallet vault?
- snap out of it regresses madness to tier 1 instead of tier 2 (plus what you already said: only 25% penalty on failed skill check + progress not reset on stopping snapping out)
- survivors lose madness when outside the killer Terror Radius. Because yeah, it's frustrating for survivors to be penalised if the killer "do nothing", but the opposite (killers being penalised if survivors "do nothing") is no problem at all?
plus, why in the world would you remove player rank from the scoreboard on the tally screen? Were you afraid of post game lobby dodge ;)?
It really seems to me you just want to get rid of rank altogether in the matchmaking: if we can't see (ever!) the rank of other players we can't complain that we have rank 18 team mates as rank 1, problem solved! hippy!!!

I think the ruin nerf is to make the game more appealing to new players, and to make space for something the devs are preparing for killers.

removing treatment mode grabs is a nerf to the killer simple as that, stop saying he hasnt been nerfed when he has.

Yeah just like mending changes and basic attacks changes to Legion "weren't nerfs" but drastically changed the way, for a lot of players for worse, you play him.

Why then were nurse and legion still crushed despite all the feedback during ptb? There were hundreds of forums on both but the nerfs still went through full steam.

How dare they nerf a couple of addons on a killer with 74% killrate in red ranks ? Damn survivor biased patches , when we , killer mains , will have 4k every single game ?

It is 100% a nerf to the dr. You took away a passive and gave him nothing for it. What is that isn't but a nerf? On top of that you made madness easier to get out of. So now its harder to put them into madness and easy to get out of. How is this a buff?

This change is a horrible idea.I am sorry to say but whoever is doing the balancing is either out of this sync with the game at rank one or got the most ######### idea ever.I don't care about new players and their innability to hit skillchecks.i really don't.i play at rank 1.Most games with toolboxes or prove thyself 2-3 gens pop in the first 80 seconds while i end a ######### chase in 20-40 seconds.If i don't use ruin the game ends in 5 minutes no matter how good down people.i may find garbage teams but overall if not for ruin i would get genrushed because i can t traverse the ######### map,down people and guard generators at the same time.I CAN T ######### APPLY PRESSURE EVERYWHERE SO FAST.Even with ruin they have a brain to hit them in red and purple.I see 1 gen or 2 in around 2 minutes if they are on opposite sides of the map while i deal with the other 2.This change is plain stupid.If you want people to say ######### this game and stop playing or face camp to get back to green then you will achieve that.we are not god streamers and can't kill everyone in 2 minutes without ruin

I agree we all have to try the PTB but nowadays us, the killers, are being genrushed all the time even with ruin active, even more in ranks 1-5. If now anyone can repair despite their game experience, it's going to be quite troublesome for us.

Even if we don't like something in the PTB you'll still add it anyway so there is honestly no point of a PTB. The only time you ever did something with a PTB was with Ghostface but that was only because you guys were worried that no one would buy him when he was absolute trash.

If you so much want to change ruin you have to change your whole game.gens go by too fast and you will see when a lot of people stop playing what mistake you did.
Sure.get rid of ruin i all but it BUT YOU NEED TO MAKE GENS TAKE LONGER TO REPAIR.way longer.we don t love ruin.i would rather take another perk than that ######### all games.an useful perk.but i can t because i would get gen rushed otherwise and not be able to use my addons in time.sometimes it is gone in the first min.inconsistent.but it at least makes people search for it instead of genrushing me
Doc doesn't need to be made less annoying.he needs buffs.he is weak in red and high purple.just want to add that.

Nice. I won't hesitate to call the designer notes and leaked patch notes to look unfun, because putting abilities onto cooldowns isn't fun at all, the shock, his static field which can still be countered by lockers is on a lengthy Cooldown.
Cooldowns aren't fun, this is why Cooldown reducing add ons are so popular. Even if they only reduce it by 0.75 seconds when stacked *cough* legion *cough*

Not being able to swing after you shock a survivor is hilarious. That's literally why you use the shocking ability in a chase. To deny survivors from vaulting and dropping pallets. Oh no, no NO NO. tOO Op???? aNnOyInG tO pLAy aGaInSt???

You guys made him slow down when shooting electricity, and gave him a cool down. On top of that, you made Snap Out of It easier to do. With all due respect, that sounds like a nerf to me.

C'mon guys, I never played the doctor but the only hard thing to play against him was his power to spot survs, for the rest he was the weakest killer of the game.
Why don't remove killers ability at this point?

You worded it as if it was a nerf. He was changed because "he's frustrating to play against". The only frutrating thing bout Doctor was playing him, because he's hopeless against any decent survivor due to his slowdowns, cooldowns and other restrictions.

As a killer with near 2k hours in game.
I hesitate to call them anything but nerfs on the terms of Doc.
His power is now effectively useless as anything but a portable sonar.
I doubt you care much though as gotta keep them precious survivors enjoying the game and not as, how did the patch notes go?

This man had more common sense than the whole rework team:
Look at this video:one of your players,who plays killer,keeping your game alive.if you ignore how killers play,what needs to be done to stop gen rushing and only listen to one side of the argument expect your population on the game to decline.the perk sounds nice but is useless.chase them off ,they go back on it.keep doing it=no kills.have you wondered ever what the ######### does a swf team do in red rank?your no perks test surveys are useless.they always have at least a toolbox and prove thyself.want a game to be done in 4 5 minutes while you are chasing one guy then going for the other?the unhooked will go back to bgen repair as well as the injured sometimes because adrenaline.and then they ######### about noed and bloodwarden after a 4 minute game .myers ,ghostface ,clown even with ruin lack pressure.they chase one guy down him ok but before they get to the other map side.pop 2 gens.and all because the others were glued to gens.you are not slowing them down enough with the gen repair speed and they have no other objective.if you keep going like this your game will die.i don't say it out of spite.you are turning away old players who know your game's issues in favor of people who buy this and don't give a ######### ######### about learning how to play it or play once a week in green casually.they hardly can loop a killer because they suck at the core part.chasing.no wonder ruin seems op to them

Loom at this.this man speaks straight facts about your game and its problems and has more sense than the rework team.keep on this road and you will drive the game population off,remaining with casual people who play 1 2 matches per day in green
