Bitter Murmur is now a top tier perk. Use it.
This is more of a disclaimer thread than anything else because I'm still seeing Killers, both streamers and newbies, still not utilizing the new and improved Bitter Murmur.
Bitter Murmur now shows the aura's of Survivors after they complete a gen and all of their aura's for 10 seconds when all gens are completed.
This is extremely powerful for obvious reasons:
It gives you info and tells you exactly how many of them are on a gen and where they're heading.
It also benefits camping. You gotta' do what you gotta' do. Catch someone, camp their ass, Bitter Murmur shows you exactly what the Survivors are up to in a way BBQ cannot.
Best of all it cannot be countered. They can counter BBQ by hiding behind a gen and hope that they're at an angle where you can't see them. Or they can get within 40 meters to hide. They could try to counter it by hiding behind the complete gen for 6 seconds but that still benefits the Killer for obvious reasons. You might still be able to see them depending on the angle and if they're staying at that gen then great, hopefully you're heading over there to get them.

When I play killer, the only problem I have is catchin the survivors because of the broken map design. I have no problems locating them and tbh, I only use BBQ for the bloodpoints

It's not very hard to find Survivors, as rarely any of them even try stealth.
So i'll keep utilizing Barbecue & Chili: Gives more for your efforts and allows you to easily chain hooks thanks to the auras.1 -

I think these perks should just stop getting to this level; instead make it easier to stealth, and much harder to be a looping race car

Bitter Murmur is definitely a great perk but IMO it's just not as valuable as other perks. When a generator is completed, you know the general area the survivors are in already. Now if a random generator was completed and you weren't notified with a huge blip, I'd definitely run Bitter Murmur. For that reason, I find Bitter Murmur less valuable than any other perk. I'm not gonna lie, if BBQ didn't reward extra BPs, I'd probably run bitter murmur instead.

I'm not gonna lie, if BBQ didn't reward extra BPs, I'd probably run bitter murmur instead.
I may mess around with it a bit more and use it instead of whispers and see which perk I favor more though. If decisive strike gets nerfed anytime soon, I may just stop using Enduring and run Bitter Murmur.

Bitter Murmur is actually really good in combination with BBQ and throw in Tinkerer and play Myers and you're just pure evil incarnate.Well to be really despicable throw in Monitor and Abuse as Myers and jump scare the crap outta people.

Since I don't own Leather Face and can't get his perks. So I equipped Bitter Murmur because I needed a substitute. Glad to know I have a pretty good perk equipped. To bad I only have rank 2 though.
