Just create AI killers and let survivors choose to face them or a human.

I was very surprised when reading the dev notes how concerned they are about survivors having fun, but killer enjoyment seems completely off their radar. I kept reading about all the killer mechanics that are "annoying to play against" which to me translates as survivors losing the match.

It seems there is a portion of the community that wants this to be like a single player game where once you've learned the AI patterns you are golden and can sail through the match. Why doesn't BHVR just create AI killers and let survivors choose if they face the AI or another human. This could satisfy the people who's only view of winning is escaping the match. Then people who really want a challenge can play against a human and the devs can stop constantly nerfing the killers. This would probably help with killer lobby wait times as well.

Hahahahaha they don't know how to make actual functioning ai that could provide even a slither of challenge

In game like these would be impossible to have a strong AI unless making it very unfair, with like person-impossible inputs or aim bot on huntress or shenanigans like these.

Well that would probably make all the people who find the killers "annoying to play against" pretty happy.

honestly, with the original topic point aside for a moment, the idea of having private or custom game lobbies that feature ai in general would be such an amazing thing, since it would allow people to properly experiment with builds and toy around with bots.

but unfortunately, ai isn't really a priority nor would it be a good idea to implement it right now. it'd be too difficult to create from scratch because ai would have to do what players would do in order to create at least a decent experience based on difficulty; flicking, moonwalking, countering loops, mindgaming, etc.

unless if the ai learn from a neural network that learns from actual players, it's kind of.. meh..

this goes for both killers and survivor ai, by the way!

Yet it would create the swf problem aka bad players getting boosted to high ranksthen calling for nerfs when they get destroyed by killers
