I didnt mean gen tapping I meant the gen tap mid chase where a survivor can tap a damaged gen to stop it from regression with no penalty which also negates the fact the killer spent some actual time damaging it.

Have you never spammed killers with totems when he did actually bring thrill of the hunt? :D This ruin is so ######### and you explain, well just put 3 other perks on so you can protect it. LuL.
This change is just genius, ez pz matches for survivors. Honestly when you now die in a match as survivor you are just so bad at the game. I think devs will do some changes to that too, since noobs are bad at looping.

You won't be able to combo it with PGTW due to the fact it's already regressing. Basically only combos is thrilling tremors and surveillance

i never use ruin and i still manage to be rank one at the end of all my seasons you are just all too relying on it, 80% of the matches involve Ruin, but how many of these matches needed it ? How many of these matches ended at 5 gens because the survivors did really bad decisions ?

I've had people try that against my Spirit.
They just get grabbed. After they've started doing it the spam becomes predictable.

basically, the skill in skillcheck was deemed too inconvenient for survivors, and the devs saw a chance to get rid of a popular killer perk with barely ANY compensation.
After all, gameplay and fun is balanced around the survivors perspective

Yeah but if you're defending it you arent pressuring gens so they will pop them off. I think we will need to see how it turns out. Not having it for set up killers is going to suck tho.

So ruin 3 makes gens regress at half the speed survivors can progress them and make no change to survivors ability to finish them quickly.
It's essentially useless perk at the job it was good for which is wasting survivors time looking for it and slowing down survivors trying to work on gens.

The weirdest thing about this change is that the point of ruin is to give survivors a reason to NOT do gens and waste time overall. Now this new one is giving them a reason to DO gens and not get off them. Just strange.

Yeah for bad survivors maybe. Had a spirit that literally congratulated us on being the first to ever totally ruin her build/gameplan (this tells much more about the skill from most survivors.
Yeah like that means anything. Haven't you yet understood that red ranks do not mean skill? Can you honestly tell me that you haven't had games where you played against red ranks that were so awful that you thought they must be yellow/green ranks and were surprised they all were in red ranks?

It's lack of killer players on high ranks because they rather play survivor and have fun. Like i said killer players stop playing killers

It regresses slightly slower than a survivor repairing the generator. It's not worth it.

And every random will choose finish the generator. They already dont look for ruin. This is just ANOTHER reason for randoms to mindlessly do work and leave people on hook.

I understand that things are made to help new survivors, but my question is: there are no new killers too?. My biggest question is why new players play with veterans? Don't you think the rank system is broken? 🤨
Oh wait! I just realised it, the ruin is very strong! it stick your fingers to the engine and don't let you out! 😯
