Amanda should get a buff
1. When a survivor is sacrificed, get the bear trap back (if they had one on)
2. Reduce the death timer by 15 seconds at least
3. Remove the red stain at four seconds, instead of six.
4. Crouching instantly ends chase.
5. Raise her crouch view. Walking in tall grass almost completely blinds you.
6. BUFF SURVEILLANCE. Make it a permanent outline until the generator finishing regression or until worked on.
7. Fix Make Your Choice. It does not tell you if it will activate, you just have to guess.
Oh BTW, there is a typo in Amanda’s “Workshop Grease” add-on

I could get behind some of these. Although the one I don't really like is decreasing the RBT time. It's not really meant to be a killing tool, it's meant to force that survivor off of generators or to prevent them from leaving. If anything, I would like to see a change that makes it not 100% RNG. It's infuriating when you stick a trap on someone and the very first box they search has the key they need. It would be nice if the first box was guaranteed not to have it, making it a minimum of two boxes searched to remove a trap.

Literally the only buff the Pig needs is something to better deal with exhaustion perks. Either something that will cause exhaustion on a survivor without hitting them or something to extend her sprint attack so that it will outlast the survivor's Sprint Burst. (And by outlast, I mean just a second, maybe a second and a half longer so that if a survivor sprint bursts at the same time the pig does, the pig will still get a hit. If the survivor sprints away before the Pig, then the survivor will still get away.)

It provides too much crutch power at no cost.

I like all of these! I would also make it so that if a survivor tries to go through the hatch with a RBT on, they will die.

Sure. Simple.
Make her default trap time 2:00. Isn't it 2:30 now?
Reduce it by 30 seconds. That directly buffs her.

Her dash needs either a complete rework to be something else entirely, it's complete and utter garbage.
Crouching should give you the Shadowborn effect for free (does not stack with Shadowborn or Monitor & Abuse) to be able to actually see where you are going without having to waste a perk slot.
The trap timer should activate as soon as survivors start trying to remove the trap or the equivalent of one full generator has been repaired, across all generators: So if 3 survivors all repair 33.33% of a generator on separate generators the trap timer starts.
Combat Straps should be part of her power always (faster crouching) and using Combat Straps makes the crouch instant.
You should see the timer of the traps as the killer, currently you can keep track of it by yourself if you really want to, it's just really annoying to do so.

They're still contradictory points though. It's pretty much saying "I'm not saying she needs a buff, but she should get a buff." Those statements clash, thus creating confusion. It makes sense, but it's still convoluted. I knew what you meant because, like you said, it's not that confusing, but I wanted to make that comment for a joke. Like I said, I agree with you. She should be buffed. I think her lunge falls short and being able to see when you're a good enough distance from a hook for MYC to work is a good change. I'm not sure about less time for her RBT though. Like Peanits said, they're designed to make the survivor waste as much time as possible.

Remove the Ambush roar. It's all she needs.
But I also wouldn't be against some RNG forcing people to have to search in 3 boxes, at least, to get their trap off more often. Also, her Ultra Rare addons are pretty worthless. Rules Set No. 2 has no effect on anyone but newbie survivors, and the Ambush one... you might as well play Freddy or Wraith.

Lol @ Spine Chill and Resilience boosting speed being legit counters to you. All you need is the killer barreling towards you or being injured for that 6% or 9% reduction from something that's like 13 seconds. Most likely you'd only be able to search 2 boxes in a minute in 30 seconds and saving 3 seconds on running to a box and 1 second on searching it isn't going to do anything.2

Then your dead if the Pig uses "Tampered Timer" and "Jigsaw's Sketch". 1:30 with 5 boxes, you need RNG on your side to have a chance to survivor or communicate to the other survivors to not do a generator lol. Nice suggestion tho!
Luck offerings boost survivor RNG, Spine chill boosts speed, resilience boosts speed, sprint burst and balanced landing get you there faster, and it’s unlikely a SWF (most lobbies have at least two people) group would even activate the timer. Reducing the speed of the timer is a good buff because survivors who are efficient counter it.
Spine Chill only works if the killer is looking in your direction from X meters, you have to be injured to use resilience (Which you probably are), even then. 90% of my matches, the Pig won't leave my ass if I have a trap on.
They are constantly patrolling the cages, they might as well crouch walk around behind me if they are just gonna play like that.
Also for #7, Make Your Choice does tell you when its activated. You have to be X meters away when they get unhooked for it to activate.

I agree with most of these... reducing the timer wont do much.. her traps need to start after the survivor has been saved (unhooked or picked up) after a gen is complete the trap receives a penalty and timer is reduced... reduce the time it takes to crouch as well and buff crouch movement speed

You said she doesn't need a buff then you make a whole list of buffs you want for her? (Are you stoned?) Anyway I agree she needs a buff, the biggest one I want for her is to remove the "roar" when she does a dash attack out of crouch. It's totally unnecessary to have it all it does is say "hey, survivors I am about to attack you, better run away now". Developers should NEVER have put it on Amanda to begin with.

My buffs
1) 20% faster crouch/stand and ambush charge rate
2) Jigsaw boxes affected by blindness
3) Only roar after you have started the sprint
4) 2 extra metres for the dash attack
I also like the thought of good ultra rare addons.
Amanda's Letter and Rules Set No. 2 dont really do it for me. Here is my ultra rare addon ideas.
Rusted Lock: The key to your box has a 100% chance to not be in the first 2 boxes you search
Mouthless Mask: The ambush is completely silent
Pig Skin Boots:10 extra metres on the dash attack1 -
I made a suggestion a while ago, that went some what like this:
Once the Pig uses a trap on you it's going to stay on you till all generators are completed. Searching a box at this moment grants you a key to your trap, but not to open it, merely to delay it snapping shut. If you don't get a key before a generator is completed, the trap shuts partially. (Think Hoffman in the sixth movie.)
The partial shut sends you into the next hook phase immediately, so from not hooked to summoning and from summoning to death hook. The thing I don't like about Amandas' traps are that they can be lost so early, especially with a lucky first box. This way once you got it on a survivor it will stay till late game, the rng merely affects the key search for it to partially shut. Once you have reached late game and the exits are powered, the actual timer starts. From there it goes on as normal.
I had more ideas but those are too much to put in a mere comment.
I definitely agree with most buffs to her crouching ambush, but the trap itself should get a small rework, not a buff.

I agree with you that the current Rules Set 2 should be added to her base kit, especially since on most maps, most of the boxes are in obvious places (Literally on the top of a hill in some cases with the older maps), not to mention that they make noise. I also have an idea for how Rules Set 2 could be changed:
- Rules Set 2 (Ultra Rare Add-on):
- After a generator is completed, triggering the Reverse Bear Trap, each subsequent completed generator removes 30 seconds from the timer.
I'm not sure if 30 seconds is too much (again, consider that this is an ultra rare,) but I think having an add-on that penalizes continuous progression of generators would be a great idea, especially since it could come off as a surprise since survs won't know if you're running it.
For the base box skill check, I think it's fine. What would be nice if there were add-ons that increased the difficulty of the bear trap. Right now, we only have add-ons that increase the probability of triggering a skill check and increasing the penalty of failing a skill check.
