GOD FIX THE SOUND
In this game sound is a really important thing , killers rely on sound . especially when a survivor is slugged. The sound has been bugged for the past couple weeks (maybe month? I've honestly lost track of how long its been).
It's gotten to the point to where I cant even hear a survivor on the ground right next to me. Also when I play survivor theres a glitch that makes it to where I'm not moaning and groaning while injured.
I find it crazy how fast you guys work to fix glitches and bugs that affect survivors negatively and not killers like the basement bug for example.

Sounds is the reason why I don't play Spirit. I don't wanna play vs default iron wills.
I don't understand how so critical bugs are ignore for more than mounth.

nah they've discovered working sound attenuation is unfun for certain players so its not a priority and a happy accident bruh :)

I mean making sound was found out to be annoying to survivors, especially on lower ranks. I think survivors should be making 0 sound no matter what and killers should have a ghetto boombox blasting all the time.

I haven't noticed sounds being an issue in the PTB. What sound bugs have you guys found?

Its a feature now, obviously. It was found to be unfun for survivors.

Why would they fix something they didn't break?
Remember when sound was "bugged" and killers could once again hear survivors footsteps during chase? i think it was when they released the plague.
The forums were flooded with survivors complaining they they can't run past the killer without being detected, going as far as pretending to be killer mains and saying this is bad for the game
It was fixed within a week and this is their fix, silence.

At least remove the obnoxious quiet music during non-chase patrols.

I've been playing spirit with stridor for quite a while now, and half the time survivors have been making no sound while injured. They essentially have built in iron will that ignores stridor.

I was going to give a poor Dwight that the players left slugged the hatch, but I couldn't find him on Sanctum of Wrath. He was on the ground for four straight minutes and bled out. I felt bad. :(
I can't track anyone via sound right now. I mean, I can basically never track using sound during a chase because of how unbalanced the audio is, but right now I can't find anyone via sound even when it's completely silent. It's ridiculous.

sorry, game breaking glitches that affect survivors negatively? patched within a week
crucial aspect of killer gameplay and some killers relying on it to use their powers? wait a minimum of a few months before it gets fixed. IF it gets fixed.
best part is this is not the first time the sound has been glitched.

I´ve been bitching a few times bout the missing sound of footsteps during chases, but no reply.
The really fun part is, i dont get it, how u can mess up with the sounds literally every patch?! But remember the last time the sounds were messed up, it took them a while to fix it.
Now, playing Spirit seems ridiculous, even with stridor, and ninja - survivor running around u during a chase and u cant hear anything. It´s pretty fun to try to mindgame someone, when u dont even know, if this survivor is still in the jungle gym or already left.
Downed survivors are most times not making sounds and keep dying whereever they crouched.
Imagine, Killes dont have a red glow after a patch, just imagine. Would it last for more than a month?
But hey, i u dont like it, just play Civ or play as survivor.

I'm aware that's a problem in the Live build, have you tested it in the PTB? I was playing spirit in the PTB and I didn't notice any problems with sound. I'll check again.

They are more concerned with nursing survivors and introducing more bugs to the game, rather then fixing the existing ones.

Every game I've played with the Spirit sound has worked. I don't think you guys even bothered to test it before coming in and complaining on the forums.

Been this way for over a month an stridor is bugged too cant hear people using iron will with it anymore

They'd hotfix that within a day, it's been seen time and time again, survivors side of bugs get fixed asap meanwhile the killer bugs go on for months, just look at clown he's had bottles explod in his hand for about a year and still no fix.

With how regular these sound problems are on every other patch I'm starting to wonder if these are intentional to see if they can slowly slip in quieter and quieter sounds without anyone noticing.

In the PTB the sounds are fixed. Can we get off this discussion. Once the PTB goes live the fix will be live too.

It's not stated, but I played 10 hours of spirit with stridor in the PTB. I could hear footsteps, the sounds were the correct loudness and I could hear people on the ground. Not once did I run into a sound bug. I know that you guys looked through the notes and didn't see it specifically mentioned, but maybe you should have actually checked.

The fact that it doesn't even get mentioned, while being a reoccuring bug across multiple patches and taking months to be resolved each time, is a pretty big red flag.
