Stop bitching and moaning and just enjoy the game
First off I would like to say thank you to BHVR. Yeh your game has bugs and so on but your game is fun,addictive and original.
I'm so bored and tired of seeing posts along the lines of "the Devs don't know what they are doing" or "the Devs are survivor/killer biased". Have you people who moan and ######### actually thought to yourself hang on maybe the game is 90% exactly how the DEVELOPERS AND PROGRAMMERS want it to be? Stop slagging people off just because matches don't go how YOU want 100% of the time.

We should just say DBD is going into end times because the ruthless tactics will drive away new players. But again bhvrs own doing for causing the catalyst of killers being ruthless.

Nice job, your post added nothing meaningful to the conversation. You don't even understand why people are angry ruin is being obliterated do you. I'll tell you why, it's because only the weakest killers in the game are actually gonna suffer from this. The Freddy, Billy, Spirit sweatlords don't care if ruin gets nerfed those dudes fly across the map like it's no business, gen pressure is what they do, it's the people who play weaker killers like Bubba, Clown, Legion, and Doc who are actually going to suffer and the devs don't seem to get that (Hence why we're calling them out for not understanding their own game and why this change is awful). "Just use Pop lol" doesn't mean anything when the gen is 75% done by the time you can reach it without ruin.

Seriously, though, you know when I stopped posting on the Battlefront II forums voicing my displeasure at changes or the lack thereof? When I stopped playing the game. That's when I stopped caring whether or not it improved. I lost hope and gave up on it.
When I stop posting on the DbD forums voicing my opinion, it'll be because I no longer play the game and my money isn't going towards their product.

There is no enjoyment at Red ranks as of now, it's not going to change that much. Everyone in Red ranks play like it's an E-Sport. Killers sweating 4k's like they are going to die in Real life if they don't get it. People just need to take a seat and enjoy themselves, have some fun and don't take the game so seriously.

It's impossible to have fun if you don't have time to actually have it. This isn't hard to understand. I don't sweat some games because i want, it is because that i want to actually have a match to last longer than 5 minutes at best. I play without ruin btw.

He's not in charge of what lead to that (what i said, basically). Also the changes aren't healthy so i don't penalize him for that.
It's basically and eye for an eye mentality that he has. Even though it isn't a healthy mentality, i don't blame the guy for doing that as i would do the same if i wasn't waiting for the patch to be released to know if i will uninstall or not.

Fair enough, but this isn't a step in the right direction either. If toxicity and queues lengths go up but nothing else really changed is that a good thing? BHVR was right to rework Ruin, but Killers are equally right to be angry about the rework without changes to gen progression speed to compensate for the rework. All the things they'll have to do to win without Ruin are things Survivors have told them aren't fair for years.

Am I really going to have fun as Killer with Gens this quick? Doing Gens does not require any skill so even against bad Survivors if I struggle to find them in the first 80-60 seconds or if I find a strong looper I'm often forced to lose 1-2 Gens before I even had the chance to see all Survivors or decide to ignore the strong looper and start patrolling again.
Good Survivors are better at not letting the match fall apart after the first chases, that's it.
Side note: many times people criticize "sweaty" attituted towards a game that is basically a gloryfied "horror" party game. Now people talk about getting good at applying map pressure. Should I play in a tryhardy way to get good and/or have a chance sometimes? Should I chill and watch Gens pop every 100 seconds? Should I play Survivor only?

Yeah, people are upset, and should be able to voice their opinions freely — especially when they disagree with the developers. Telling people not to do so will make things that need to be looked at not get any attention, and those things will continue to plague the game. 😕

I play without ruin as well, long or short game if you are not enjoying yourself, just move on to a different game I guess. I feel like this will boil over after a week or so of it being implemented and people can adapt. I play both sides 50/50, and I hate Ruin as it is personally.

I strongly suggest not coming on the forums if you don't want to see people giving feedback, constructive or not. I figure we've all been on game forums before. When people don't like something they will tell you they don't like it.

I don't like ruin like it is in the live servers, BUT i feel that they should change it only when a secondary objective is implemented and the match takes longer.
The time that the match takes is key for a person's fun. I want to enter in a game, chase people and then kill them (the last one only if i play better than the survivors in question) but the problem is that if you dont sweat, not even the 2nd step out of the 3 is completable.
Realistically, survivors can have 40% (2 gens) of their objective done by the time that you cross some maps from 1 side to another. I play survivor too, now its like 60% killer and 40% survivor and i think that a secondary objective would be healthy and productive for both sides.
Killers have more time to kill, survivors have better things to interact with other than pressing m1 for X time.

I understand what you mean, I find it very frustrating and stressful at times, on both sides for that matter. I 100% think they needed to rework Ruin, but this might be a bit extreme and is going to cause far more toxicity between killers and survivors. I have seen multiple forum posts stating that killers are going to camp/tunnel/mori any survivor just because they can no longer use ruin.
Seems to me that everyone is going about these changes the wrong way, even Behavior. It is incredibly childish for the player base to ruin the fun for everyone by playing this way to spite the Devs.

I think this can show the devs how bad the situation is. As a survivor, you suffer for a patch. As a killer, you will suffer until a new objective is added. I actually don't mind it.
I disagree with you that the devs are taking this the wrong way. They are making the good changes at the VERY WRONG time because, as i already said, they should only do this with a secondary objective implemented. ALso they should make it not a hex perk, but what does our word mean at the moment?

Ruin allowed the Killers some breathing room when playing. Now that it’s gone, any competent group of survivors will be able to get the gens done in 5-6 minutes, unless they’re facing one of the few high mobility killers such as Spirit, Freddy, Hillbilly and sometimes Demodoggy.
Now, when I play killer, and someone unhooks a survivor, what’s the smarter choice for me to take? Go after the healthy one, who needs to be hit twice to down, or go after the unhooked one, who will down faster, needing only to be hit once, and will die faster on the hook because they were just hooked? I mean, I have no other decent way to slow the game down, what’s a better alternative to remove the stress?
The only time I tunneled is when it was obvious matchmaking matched me up with survivors way out of my rank, or in endgame. Now, expect to see more NOED, Insidious, Basement Bubbas, and lots and lots of salt in chat.

I agree! I've played this game since it had infinite sprint burst and lithe.. among other fantastic perks, killers were OP and survivors were OP, IT WAS FUN. They've been making changes nerfing, buffing, and t makes it less challenging, but it's ok, it keeps the game new and interesting. You're not going to like everything in life and so as the game. Just have fun! Do different plays. Play to have fun. Dont let the game play you. If people dont like the comments in after chat, then dont read them. If things stayed the same it would be boring. People that get really upset about changes are stuck in their boring ways. Just adapt and have fun! Use different perks, use different characters, have different goals. Annoying to see a survivor only doing gens and then leaving. Killers that camp. How is that fun every single game. 😂 the bugs make it funny and kooky. I find then halarious and wished they wouldn't fix things right away. Let it be so we can goof around from time to time. It's the complaining whiney uptight players that ruin everything. I've seen people say the key should be nerfed. LOL that you shouldne beagle to exit without skill checks. Common. it's a key, bring your Franklin's if you're so worried.
Seriously go play something else I'd rather the game die than play with whiney babies. Nerfing and buffing every damn thing as soon as it releases. May as well play pacman.

It's not like you can't pair the perk up with another perk that's good with it. Like Pop Goes. You can make a insane generator protection build with ruin now. People are just so quick to pick and don't give it a chance.
Also learn how to play with Ruin. I had to learn the hard way by making a post about it. I took off ruin for a while and ran Pop/Corrupt instead games were the equivalent like the ones with ruin.

I totally get the devs constantly get a lot of ######### from the community but most of it at this point is slef inflicted for ignoring problems for so long and have their balance design be "release new perks and killers to deal with core problems" instead of just FIXING the core problems.
Every patch I have less and less sympathy for the devs since they're their own worst enemy at this point.

My guy. How are you gonna play when all the killers have left the game since we know that the devs hates us. Survivors only has to do gens, chased and getting saves.
We have 2 hook a surv 3 times while still not getting the chase for to long otherwise we get genrushed while survivors has god windows that is impossilbe to go up against.
