Is the survivor queue times slow for you?

Not any slower than they normally are. I usually have to wait 2-5 minutes for a match as survivor.

First match, tried to grab someone off my totem. Started the grab animation and then turned into a hit.
I was dreading the day dedicated servers came to console, I really was. Despite all the problems on PC, I knew it was only a matter of time... -sigh-
Right now, I'm just letting survivors practice working through Ruin in my matches. I mean, dedicated servers break interaction between survivors and killers on both sides, so why subject them (or more importantly myself) to that? Killer queue times are strangely instant right now, which is unheard of at this time of day; usually they're not instant until the evenings when more people are playing.

Holy corrupt guys it's the Messiah! They got a hit when doing the grab animation - please messiah bless us, so that we don't just have no reward for attempting a grab and the survivor just literally walks away each time.

There’s a timetable they have to follow to stay on schedule, they don’t have time to make major changes to mistakes or they risk falling behind.

lol yeah, even when typing that I knew I was lucky I got a hit rather than just getting stuck in the grab animation or something, but damn I was really hoping for more time before console got stuck with this.
Survivor seems to be jankier in general. The framerate for skill checks is worse than usual.

On the PTB they did feel a lot smoother with a lot less BS hits happening.
It wont go live as yet as its a test for now but I feel they are looking a lot better.

Ugh, my way of coping with our ######### FPS and other general console misery was lording it over PC gang for being able to grab survivors and use dead hard. Dark times ahead.

I was talking about the current PTB test sorry not them being tested on PS4.
It is safe to assume the servers like PC will stay on PS4 while being worked on.

I’m wondering where these servers are, does anyone know?. I have played all survivor matches and just now continuously get ping of 111-120, I’m in London. I even swapped over to see if it is the same for killer and it is

I'm getting green ping for my killer games. Plus the game feels smoother to play also.

Hopefully you are right and it’s just a load of people taking up server space. I did just now try a killer match and I got a nice green at 60 so there is hope for survivor matches

ngl, i haven’t seen much thats bad with them on the killer side (other than janky grabs)
but survivor? oh boy, i had a random gigantic lagspike that teleported me halfway across the map after getting hit by nothing... that was with green ping to the server, btw

I didn't have problems as killer, played about 8 games so far. Tried 1 game of survivor but the queues were too long didn't have any problems either

I play on PS4 and I have never been exhausted on the ground until yesterday when the dedicated servers were dropped.

I gave up and switched to sprint burst weeks ago on pc. Dead hard gets extremely irritating after a while.

After playing a few games... the servers are fine. At least here. Both killer and survivor. So I welcome the change.
Still wish I could play killer with a mouse and keyboard... but that's a separate issue.

They seem fine though my solo que times have went from a 10sec wait to 1-2mins.

It's interesting to see all of this negative feedback. I played about 2 hours of killer and 2 hours of survivor yesterday and it felt great. It might be because I'm based in the same city as one of the servers, but my ping never went over 65 ms.
- as survivor vaults fealt a lot smoother and i stopped getting hit through windows and pallets where I thought I'd made it safely to the other side. Skill checks feel a lot better, but that might just be a placebo
- as killer I haven't noticed any difference, although one survivor did complain that they'd already made a few steps before I hit them at a window vault - the hit looked completely normal on my end though

Maybe not for killers with terrible internet that were inflicting great suffering on survivors and cant win because no more lag anymore, but the dedicated servers are a million times better.

You can play with mouse and keyboard, my friend does it. However it is no where as responsive as a pc

Dedicated servers make killers with high ping even more frustrating actually. Thats because the servers are inbetween the killer and survivor, adding even more latency between the 2 players.
