New Hex: Ruin is what Surge should've been
Surge is such a crap perk at the moment & barely has any effect in the long run of most matches. Instead of tampering with Ruin to decrease its use in the meta, maybe buffing the already existing crap regression perks would be the smart move. Surge is arguably the worst regression perk in the game, so here is how this new Ruin concept could be applied to Surge:
Every time you down a survivor, all gens not being worked on begin regressing. The rate of regression is 100/150/200% the speed of normal regression rate. Also, any gen within 24m of the downed survivor also suffers an instant 8% progress regression.
It rewards the killer for getting a down & helps with gen speeds in the event a gen in progress is left unattended. The additional 8% loss is not that bad for survivors either, as generally only 1 or 2 gens are in that range anyways (and only works on these gens if they're being repaired at that time). Combine this with Thrilling Tremors & Surveillance, you basically have the same synergy they want to achieve with new Ruin. Thoughts?

It would have been perfect for Surge indeed, I agree !

Honestly, I can agree. However, just not have it as a totem perk.

@Hex_KillerMainBTW yeah it wouldn't be a hex perk for Surge. I just don't think Ruin in it's current state should be changed. It's not a hard perk to work through, it is just inconsistent w/ skill check appearances & how long it lasts in a match in most cases.
