Question for PS4 players from an Xbox player
So with the release of dedicated servers, have you noticed any improvement in framerate, lag, etc.? I imagine PlayStation is similar to Xbox in the fact that frames can drop drastically quite often and am hoping dedicated servers can at least help a little.

No improvement as killer. Survivor felt noticeably worse.

I still believe connection cannot physically affect framerate, but my ping is absolutely amazing now.

Always green ping. But what I noticed are some weird lags. like always a smooth game and then suddenly a freeze or lag. I downed a surv and had to search her lagged away body lol

I ask because I notice my frame rate gets significantly better when one or two people leave the match after they’ve been sacrificed.

I havent noticed anything as killer , as survivor its felt a lot worse. I'm getting hit by hatchets 5 feet behind me.

Killer feels like ######### with these servers more so on PS4 than PC, I can cope with Pc's dedicated servers but the one's for console are so bad I was on coal tower main building chasing a survivor and I dropped down then the next second i got teleported back on to the top floor.

Is this happening with all PS4 players? I haven't noticed any differences in game, but my lobby times have gotten way way worse the last couple days.

no lags on my side, but many weird things happened.
One survivor got disconnected after I put him down and it showed all game like if he was still playing but unactive, resulting in continous sounds from tue direction where his body was.
Lots of audio issues which i never heard before, no sounds from jumping from window and even couple sounds missing from hits received.
Queues on survivor side twice longer than usual....
All in all...quite a mess.
But it's first day so it's understandable.

Only played 1 match. Not enough free time today.
It was a killer match and in general it was better than normally.
Frame rate still the same. But less lag than normal, except one time when quentin and myself were jumping around and I couldn't stand up again (was playing pig).
Just hoping I don't step into my own trap as trapper as soon as I set it. 👍

Only played survivor today, it was AMAZINGLY better. The last week has been on a run of killers either lag switching on purpose or using the Burger King next doors wifi, and now that's gone, no more hitting me through a pallet drop or rubber banding. The best part is since I play mostly swf, no more lobby dodging! Killers dont know you're swf, we got dodged a couple times for whatever reason but whereas before it was another 10 minute wait, we stayed in the actual lobby and within about twenty seconds a new killer shows up and readies up. We were able to actually bring items in with us without getting dodged, it was amazing

I would venture a guess that any killer complaining about dedicated servers most likely has ######### internet, and is used to survivors having to pay the price for it by them being rubber handed and unfairly hit. Now if you've got ceap internet itll be you that pays the price
