5th perk slot for killers/survivors?

i wouldnt mind getting an extra perk slot, taking into consideration as a killer you are always facing up to 16 perks at the time.
Maybe make this 5th perk slot hex only, since they are so garbage anyways.

No, it's fine the way it is. The more slots we get the more similar builds will be.5

Never mind a 5th perk slot I would t mind seeing a third add on spot

I'd be okay with it if it was a point based system, where you have a maximum amount of "perk points" to spend and more powerful perks cost more points, while weaker perks would cost less (and allow you to equip more of them).
Though I feel like adding a fifth slot as is would remove a lot of build diversity and allow people to too easily become a jack of all trades.

I think a point based approach is a cop out answer to imbalance. There needs to be more effort put into making perks viable, rather than artificially restricted.I think a fifth hex-only slot would be cool for killers, while for survivors, a nerfed version of Self-Care is changed to an innate ability.7 -
a 5th perk is strictly needed as reaward for prestige 3 or devotion levels

A proper and enticing ranking system would help prevent newbies from running into more experienced players. As it is now, beginners still feel shafted playing versus decked out killers in brown ranks.5 -
For Survivors, no. Survivors are already strong. A fifth perk slot would be too much.
It could work for Killer though, even it's only for hexes. They need it, considering that Killers are basically going up against 16 perks and that totem spawns are garbage most of the time, which leads to the totem doing basically nothing but getting destroyed in the first 30 seconds and leaving the Killer with only three perks to use.

Cause [BAD WORD] beginners, right? It's fine the way it is right now, and if you think a 5th slot is STRICTLY needed you might rethink about your gameplay and skills.
I agree. Older players shouldn't be at a advantage.
Older players (usually) have the best perk of the game : game sense.

Killers already have individuality due to their powers, so what I'd like to see is the 5th perk slot provide a bit more identity. My preference would be for the 5th slot to be tied to the survivor's innate perks. For example, if I was playing as Kate Denson, and used her innate perks _Boil Over_, _Dance with Me_, and _Windows of Opportunity_, it would trigger a 5th perk, _Saddle Up_, automatically. And these 5th slots perks would be survivor-specific, so _Saddle Up_ would only be used by Kate.
This could also be used to help balance some of the more powerful perks. For example, if you use _Self-Care_ or _Decisive Strike_ as the 4th slow on the Kate build above, it would automatically disable the 5th perk slot, essentially making those perks more 'expensive' to use.
Alternatively, a perk like _Self-Care_ is strong enough that I'd vote for it being Claudette's 5th slot perk. Same for Meg and _Sprint Burst_, if the exhaustion nerf was rolled back.
