I dislike the doctor of a UNIQUE reason

For me its not because he is strong or weak or annoying, NO! Its because he is not a doctor!

When the doctor was released my first thought was: "#########? Thats not a doctor!"

His power does not fit a doctor, he doesnt use any instruments that a doctor would use and he does not look like a doctor (######### is the vanilla outfit? why did he remove his sleeves? was he part of a bike gang?). Why did they used the name "Doctor" for a psychiatrist? yes psychiatrist are also doctors, but if you hear the word doctor a psychiatrist is by far not your first thought, alteast not my first!

I would love to see Doctor renamed to psychiatrist so much XD And instead get a cool character a real doctor.

I also got a unique idea for such character if you want to read it go ahead:

Am I missing something? Doctors come in all different types, including medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, etc... Herman Carter's bio doesn't say he is a surgeon or a primary care physician, it says he worked in the psychiatric/neuroscience fields.

I'm pretty sure his lore is basically that he was a CIA "interrogator" who started larping as a doctor to intimidate his victims. No medical certificate needed.

    Let me explain...

Herman Carter IS a doctor. He studied the brain in particular, and studying the brain is a form of medical practice. A psychiatrist helps to ease trauma and mental disorders, or simply provide therapy through words, advice etc. It is entirely different than what Herman was practicing.

The Doctor studied the physical human brain in hopes to cure diseases specifically related to the brain. In his lore, he opened his boss's skull and put actual electrodes in the brain to try and achieve mind control through physical force. His cosmetics also provide clues as to what tools he used. Electric chairs, injections, and (his newest cosmetic) adrenaline drips. It is also hinted that he had opened someone up via surgery and even performed some of his own experiments on himself. Electroshock therapy was an actual form of medical care back in the day that real doctors used, and Herman Carter did just that in his timeline.

Regarding his sleeves, notice the electrical wiring embedded into his arms. These wires are more like cords with smaller wires inside - meaning they are designed to handle extreme amounts of electricity. When there is an intense electrical current riding through fabric, the fabric will catch fire (so will flesh). Look closely at where his sleeves end. They are not torn off, theyre burned. His hands are fried and calloused and his skull is raw with burns. Some of his other cosmetics include burn trauma bandages with burned scabbed flesh.

Not everyone is familiar with the type of doctor Herman is, the practices are dead these days and are seen more as a form of torture than anything else - making for an awesome killer concept that is the Doctor. Hes my absolute favorite, so I kinda soak up any and all lore/info on the guy.

Doctor could be anyone with a doctorate degree. I always imagined him as more of a scientist who studied Neurotherapy. I think your definition of doctor is just too tight.

You don't like the doctor because he doesn't look like the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a doctor, but you think the best thing to represent a doctor is a flashlight?

Might just be nitpicking here, but...

    Isn't it Lery's Memorial Institute?

I thought that wasn't the same thing as a hospital.
