Even though he was telling off his teammate for not getting in a locker to hide from the BBQ...to me, he just gave this...

BHVR - The aura reading of BBQ rewarded killers without much effort and survivors found this frustrating. To remedy this we have removed the aura reading ability from BBQ.
After all "its just for BP" as we hear oh so often.

He'll clearly tell you you cant talk until your rank 1, even after winning. If you ARE rank 1...rank 0.

That doesnt sound like behavior at all. The solution to BBQs aura reading would be "removed aura reading from ALL killer perks/addons. Jk, was just remembering their response to legion's knife addons.

i always find it hilarious when ppl tell you you "had no skill" when you just beat them...
like, if you had no skill, what would that make them?

Legion is a whole different beast. When employees at BHVR get frustrated or angry they have a special room with one of those blow up "punch em dolls" that they beat up and hurl insults towards.

Ive been jumping around to different killers. I have MAYBE 2 weeks practice will Billy now. Its not that I feel reliant on it, just dont really feel like I need anything else atm. Ive been playing pretty aggressive with him and dont spend much time kicking gens.

I recommend you purchasing the Survivor Rulebook, it tells you what stuff you can and can't do in-game as the killer.

BHVR: BBQ & Chilli is a perk used in over 80% of the games in red ranks and rewarded killers for minimal effort, resulting in frustration for the survivors. To remedy this issue, we decided to alter the aura reading ability, to reveal the killer to the survivors after they hook someone.

Considering the state of the matchmaking system, it's easier than ever to rank up. I had a handful of matches around rank 6 when I was favinf a rank 15+ killer.

I'm pretty use to it. I use to run NOED on my OG Freddy build when he had to wait 7 seconds to hit someone. The fact that adrenaline would wake ppl up when the last gen was popped made me want to have SOMETHING in my favor in endgame when someone is awake and opening the gates, lol. The amount of ppl that would call my a baby killer for crutching on NOED was laughable, expecially when they all would die before the gens were finished and NOED had never activated.

One thing I thought was funny. OG Freddy had a base slowdown of 50%, which could be increased with addons. Reworked Freddy had no slowdown and abit from some addons... Ppl were completely fine waking up against OG Freddy to get rid of the slow, but reworked Freddy...How do we counter this?

Survivors found frustrating to play vs killers with perks so we decided to remove all perks for killers and raise number of perk slots for survivors to 6 so they will not be "frustrated". This "balance" patch will make game more comfortable for new and present survivors and much easier to achieve 4 escapes with teabegging in gate.

Removed aura reading
Killer must down another survivor while a survivor is hooked to gain stacks.
Malicious:
Gain more points for attacking a survivor while another survivor is hooked.
Dev Comments: Many killers complained about the Malicious Emblem quality so we changed it to reflect the new impact BBQ & Chill will have. EZPZ

On a serious note, I really disagree with the developers choice on the Ruin nerf since they didn't address the real problem most players seen. I don't think they will do this with BBQ, I'm just memeing around haha! 😁🤗

New BBQ
Being that BBQ and Chili is run in over 85% of games across all ranks and based on survivor feedback we have decided to make the following changes to both the perk and emblem system.
Bloodpoints gained towards sacrifice (devout?) Emblem are made zero until end game collapse has started. Survivors don't like getting hooked so we arranged the emblem to be more beneficial to them. Also, downing a survivor for more than 5 seconds results in a negative bloodpoint gain. If your total in game bloodpoint total is zero, we shall remove bloodpoints from your stored pool. Should that become zero we will charge a convenience fee of auric cells.
Bbq and Chili. Killers tend to receive more bloodpoints than survivor (despite there being 4 of them) and that is unfair. Now when you hook a survivor, that survivor receives 200% bonus bloodpoints and an apology email from the developer for making killers too op. Also, when bbq is equipped all hooks start broken except for the baaement hooks. Though the entity blocks the basement entrance for 5/10/15 minutes at start of trial. Everytime a generator is completed, one hook near that completed generator is repaired. To make it fair, all hooks are repaired when end game collapse is activated. Repaired hooks break after 1/2/3 seconds.
We feel these changes perform the same function just in a more fair and balanced way
